On August 8, 2025, the young ambassadors of Classes III to V embarked on a heartwarming and patriotic journey to the NCC Office at Gurugram University to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a significant way. With reverence shining in their eyes and gratitude brimming in their hearts, they tied exquisitely handcrafted rakhis on the wrists of our nation’s braveheart jawans. They offered them sweets, symbols of love, respect, and deep appreciation for their selfless service.

The soldiers, touched by the innocence and sincerity of the students’ gesture, responded with warmth and encouragement, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and mutual admiration. This poignant interaction not only honoured the spirit of Raksha Bandhan but also ignited in the young minds a profound sense of national pride, empathy, and gratitude. The experience etched lasting impressions, reinforcing the students’ understanding of true heroism and leaving them inspired by the courage and commitment of our nation’s real guardians.

Assembly Guardians of the Frozen

As 2025 has been declared the International Year of Glaciers' Preservation by the United Nations, the students of Class III A took the lead in raising awareness through a vibrant and impactful Special Assembly ‘Guardians of the Frozen Giants.’

Through thought-provoking poetry, enriching facts, and a creative newsroom act, the assembly highlighted the urgent need to protect glaciers — the silent lifelines of our planet. From showcasing glacier-related vocabulary to offering simple yet effective eco-actions, the students inspired all to reflect and take mindful steps toward conservation.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt pledge to protect glaciers and the environment, echoing the commitment of these young changemakers.

The School Leadership Team encouraged the students to take conscious steps towards protecting glaciers, as meaningful change begins with small, responsible actions.

World Nature Conservation Day

Celebrating World Nature Conservation Day: A Call to Action by Class X-B

In a powerful and thought-provoking Special Assembly held on World Nature Conservation Day, the students of Class X-B took centre stage to ignite awareness and inspire collective action towards protecting our planet. With a deep sense of purpose and unity, the assembly opened with a soulful morning prayer, setting a reflective tone for the day's message: Living in harmony with nature is not a choice; it is a responsibility we all share.

The Thought for the Day spotlighted the critical need for sustainable practices and mindful resource consumption, encouraging everyone to become stewards of the Earth. What followed was a compelling and conscience-stirring skit, where students creatively illustrated how small, conscious changes in daily habits like reducing plastic use, saving water, and embracing green alternatives can create a ripple effect for global impact.

Adding a poignant dimension to the assembly was a heartfelt, self-composed poem by the Class Teacher, Ms. Lakshmi Hariharan, which beautifully captured the splendour of nature and the pressing urgency of its preservation. The poetic expression not only moved the audience but also served as a reminder that nature speaks through every rustling leaf, flowing stream, and chirping bird, if only we choose to listen.

The Leadership Team commended the students of Class X-B for their creativity, conviction, and collaboration. They urged the entire student body to rise beyond awareness and become active agents of change, champions of conservation in both thought and action.

As the assembly closed with the National Anthem, a renewed sense of environmental responsibility resonated in every heart. This special gathering was not merely an event; it was a movement, a meaningful stride towards nurturing a greener, fairer, and more sustainable world for all.

Wheat to Wonder: Little Hands Explore Big Ideas

In pursuance of the enriching monthly theme ‘Farm to Table’, a thoughtfully curated educational visit to a Flour Mill was organised for the enthusiastic learners of UKG on August 7, 2025. This immersive experience served as a meaningful window into the incredible journey of wheat from golden grain to nourishing flour, bridging the gap between the food we eat and its origins.

With wide eyes and curious hearts, the children witnessed the mechanical transformation of wheat into flour. They did not just observe, they participated. From gently running their fingers through raw grains to feeling the softness of freshly milled flour, their senses were fully engaged, making learning deeply personal and memorable.

More than just a field trip, this hands-on encounter cultivated in our young learners a respect for food, gratitude for farmers, and an awareness of sustainability. They began to grasp the complex, beautiful web of processes and people involved in bringing food to our plates and the role each of us plays in honouring that effort by not wasting it.

This powerful experiential journey did not just teach them about wheat, it sowed the seeds of empathy, responsibility, and connected learning. It was a celebration of holistic education, where every child’s curiosity was valued, every question welcomed, and every moment made meaningful.

Truly, ‘Farm to Table’ came alive as a lesson for life.

Student Led Conference (Class VI-VIII)

True growth begins with reflection, self-awareness, and the courage to own one's learning journey.

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School successfully hosted its Third Student-Led Conference for Classes VI–VIII, an Initiative by The Learning and Development Department under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Associate Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

This conference aimed at providing students with a platform to take charge of their learning and develop essential 21st-century skills. Through a series of engaging presentations and hands-on activities, students confidently showcased their academic progress, applying critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and self-confidence.

By integrating concepts across disciplines, they demonstrated the power of interdisciplinary learning in addressing real-world scenarios. Sharing their learning journeys with parents not only enhanced their articulation and public speaking abilities but also highlighted their personal growth and ownership of learning. The conference reaffirmed the school’s vision of student-centered education and meaningful parental engagement, leaving parents inspired by their children’s confidence and clarity of thought.

Understanding Emotions and Calm Corner Workshop

In a visionary step towards nurturing holistic well-being and emotional resilience, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, under the aegis of Adept – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by Wellnesswise.in, proudly hosted the training session on ‘Understanding Emotions & Calm Corner’ for the educators of the Pre-primary Wing of Blue Bells Group of Schools on July 16, 2025. 

This pioneering initiative is the brainchild of our dynamic leader and mentor, Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director (Social & Emotional Learning), BBGS, whose relentless commitment to emotional literacy continues to redefine educational excellence.

The first part of the training on emotional well-being for educators focused on the emotional well-being of teachers themselves, the true harbinger of change. This session empowered educators through open reflection, normalization of emotions, and practical self-regulation strategies enhancing their well-being and enabling them to model emotional intelligence, promoting a ripple effect of empathy, calm, and connection in classrooms.

The second part of the session not only focused on the practical aspects of creating a Calm Corner but also empower students to identify and regulate their emotions, enabling them to return to classroom activities with renewed focus, thereby optimizing their cognitive readiness for learning. It also aims to preserve students' dignity while helping them build confidence in managing challenges. They will be able to access this tranquil space during moments of emotional distress, and further be able to return to a calm state so that they can participate effectively in classroom activities.

By equipping teachers to model emotional intelligence, the training aimed at being a catalyst to make classrooms havens of empathy, calm, and connection. This workshop marks a significant leap in embedding Social-Emotional Learning into the very heart of early education.

CyberSpaze 2025: Digital Brilliance in Action

CyberSpaze 2025, the four-day intra-school IT Fest at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School was held from July 25 to 29, 2025, on the empowering theme ‘Technology for Good’. It served as a transformative platform for students of Classes III to XII to explore digital creativity, innovation, and ethical cyber practices.

The fest commenced with a vibrant Opening Ceremony on July 25, 2025, featuring a cultural performance and an inspiring address by Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Associate Director – IT, BBGS, encouraging purposeful digital leadership. Across four dynamic days, students participated in tech-driven competitions showcasing coding, design thinking, digital storytelling, and problem-solving skills, all nurturing teamwork, inclusivity, and real-world application.

The Closing Ceremony on July 29, 2025, was graced by ACP Mr. Priyanshu Dewan, Cyber Crime Cell, Gurugram, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Raj Kumar, Cyber Safety Officer, Special Guest and Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Associate Director-IT, BBGS. Ms. Madhu Talwar, Middle Wing Leader formally welcomed all the revered guest to the celebration of innovation and empowerment in the right earnest. The dignitaries delivered compelling addresses on cyber safety, digital ethics, and the pivotal role of youth in building a secure digital future. Their insights left a profound impression, applauding both the school’s visionary initiative and the students’ impressive display of digital intelligence. Winners were felicitated for their ingenuity, and mementos were presented in gratitude. It was followed by a warm vote of thanks by Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, drawing the curtain on a truly enriching fest.

CyberSpaze 2025 concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, responsibility, and a renewed vision for youth as ethical digital leaders of tomorrow.

In a radiant celebration of one of life’s most cherished relationships, the young stars of Class I A lit up the stage with a soul-stirring Special Assembly on August 1, 2025, dedicated to the timeless spirit of friendship.

The assembly unfolded with a powerful thought for the day, setting the tone for a morning brimming with warmth, joy, and heartfelt expression.

From evocative poems and enchanting stories to a soulfully rendered song that beautifully captured the essence of companionship, every performance radiated innocence, sincerity, and emotional depth. The energy soared with a lively, foot-tapping dance that brought smiles to every face and joy to every heart.

The School Leadership Team, moved by the young performers' sincerity and stage presence, addressed the audience with words of encouragement and wisdom. They reminded everyone of the irreplaceable value of true friendship and urged students to treasure the bonds they share.

With thunderous applause and beaming pride, the team lauded the little ones for their spirited efforts and seamless presentation, calling it a "truly heartwarming celebration of friendship that will be remembered for years to come."

In today’s fast-paced and competitive academic landscape, mastering effective study techniques is as important as understanding the curriculum itself. Recognizing this need, a comprehensive session on Study Skills was conducted on July 22, 2025, for students of Class XI of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School under the aegis of ADEPT – A Programme for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in and mentored by-

The primary objective of the session was to equip students with practical strategies for learning, retaining, and applying knowledge more efficiently. It aimed to empower them with tools to manage time effectively, enhance concentration, and develop habits that support long-term academic success. These strategies are especially valuable in helping students stay organized and well prepared to handle the increasing academic workload over the year.

The students were introduced to the PQRST method (Preview, Question, Read, Self-study, and Test)—a structured technique that emphasizes the importance of systematic study for better retention of information. The session also covered essential skills such as organizing online study material, effective note-taking techniques, and the various methods of creating detailed, meaningful notes. In addition, students learned about Reading Skills and Writing Skills, which included guidance on mark distribution and time management during examinations.

The importance of studying in a distraction-free environment and maintaining a healthy lifestyle was also emphasized. The learners actively participated by sharing their concerns, which were thoughtfully addressed by the facilitators. Overall, the session proved to be highly effective in achieving its objective. It empowered students to adopt a broad range of study strategies, paving the way for them to reach new heights of academic excellence in their educational journey.

Nrityanjali 2025

Nrityanjali 2025: Dancing to the Rhythms of Sustainability Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proudly hosted Nrityanjali 2025 – Rhythms of Sustainability, an Inter-School Dance Competition that celebrated the transformative power of the Performing Arts. Rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event brought together vibrant performances and meaningful messages, with participation from 28 schools across the region. The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Officiating Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia, followed by the traditional Lighting of the Lamp and an auspicious Ganesh Vandana. A symbolic green welcome was extended to the dignitaries and judges, underscoring the school’s unwavering commitment to environmental consciousness. Students from Classes I to XII took to the stage with compelling dance performances centered around key SDG themes such as Life Below Water, Climate Action, Life on Land, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Global Partnerships. Each performance was a creative blend of rhythm, awareness, and a powerful call to action. The event was graced by Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, as Chief Guest, and Dr. Aman Bathla, the world’s fastest piano player, as Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries inspired the audience with their addresses, and a short film chronicling Dr. Bathla’s musical journey was also screened. Winners were honoured during the Prize Distribution Ceremony, while all participants were lauded for their spirited performances and commitment. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, leaving the audience with a resonant message: to keep the rhythms of sustainability alive in everyday life.
