Workshop: Stress Management: Skills for a Healthier, Happier You!’ ‘Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.’ – Dalai Lama In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become a common challenge. Keeping in view the mental and emotional well-being of its office staff, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School organized a workshop on June 20, 2025, on the topic ‘Stress Management: Skills for a Healthier, Happier You!’ The workshop was conducted by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools and her team members. It focused on understanding the causes and symptoms of stress, ways to manage procrastination, prioritize responsibilities and the importance of following healthy lifestyle like nutrition, sleep, and exercise, to manage stress effectively. A key takeaway was the Eisenhower Matrix, a time management framework that helps distinguish between what’s urgent and what’s important—enabling smarter decision-making and focus. The workshop concluded with practical tips to enhance mental well-being and productivity at workplace. It was well-received and appreciated for its relevance and interactive approach—reinforcing the school’s commitment to support its staff holistically.

 International Yoga Day 2025: A Soulful Celebration of Harmony and Health at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

In a heartfelt tribute to India's ancient gift to the world, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School commemorated International Yoga Day 2025 with a vibrant and deeply inspiring celebration that echoed the spirit of unity, balance, and inner peace.

The day commenced with a spiritually uplifting prayer, invoking mindfulness and setting a tone of reverence for the time-honoured practice. This was followed by an immersive yoga session conducted by the school's trained instructors, who guided the participants—comprising the administration, faculty, and support staff—through a thoughtful sequence of asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), and guided meditation.

The initiative reflected the school’s relentless commitment to promoting well-being, mindfulness, and inner growth, underscoring the belief that when educators and leaders practice balance and harmony, they pass on the same values to the young minds they shape.

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School once again reaffirmed its role as a beacon of progressive education, integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary relevance, making the International Yoga Day 2025 celebration truly transformational.

Adventure Trip for Classes VI-X

“Every journey leaves footprints on the soul.”

In a vibrant celebration of experiential learning and the awe-inspiring wonders of nature, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School curated a transformative four-day odyssey to the ethereal hill stations of Mussoorie – The Queen of Hills – and the serene expanse of Dhanaulti for students of Classes VI to VIII. This immersive adventure trip was a symphony of discovery, connection, and inspiration that etched lifelong impressions on young hearts and minds.

The expedition unfurled with a mesmerizing drive through winding mountain roads, revealing the majestic grandeur of Mussoorie's mist-laden valleys and emerald landscapes. Enthralled by the sheer poetry of nature, the students marvelled at the cascading beauty of Bhatta Falls, where each drop of water seemed to whisper stories from the clouds. Their laughter echoed amidst the cliffs, blending with the rhythms of the wild.

As the journey advanced to Dhanaulti, excitement surged as students ascended to the revered Surkanda Mata Devi Temple via an exhilarating cable car ride, offering panoramic views that defied description. The spiritual serenity and architectural magnificence of the temple stirred introspection and awe, leaving a deep, reverent imprint.

The accommodation, an epitome of warmth and hygiene, provided a sanctuary where students could unwind and rejuvenate. Mealtimes became joyous interludes, filled with laughter, storytelling, and the delightful flavours of local cuisine that added cultural depth to every bite.

The adventure was interspersed with a kaleidoscope of engaging activities, where the students’ energy and enthusiasm lit up the hills. Each moment—be it scaling trails, bonding over bonfires, or reflecting under starlit skies—wove together into a tapestry of unforgettable experiences.

By the journey’s end, students returned not just with souvenirs and snapshots but with broadened horizons, enriched perspectives, and hearts full of memories. The hills had spoken—and every child came home carrying a piece of them, forever etched in their spirit.

Understanding Puberty Session for Boys

UNDERSTANDING PUBERTY SESSION

The Health &Wellness Programme under ADEPT-A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by wellnesswise,in has been structured with the strong vision of equipping students with knowledge and awareness of their health and wellbeing. Every year, the session on Understanding Puberty is conducted with Grade VI and VII boys to address all the core issues related to adolescence.

This year, the puberty awareness session was conducted as a part of the Health and Wellness Programme under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health and Wellness, BBGS, for the boys of class VII of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School on April 25, 2025.

The session aimed to educate students about the physical, emotional, social, and psychological changes that occur during puberty. The session was facilitated by the school doctor, Dr. Sanjay Bhat, and Life Skills Facilitator, Mr. Harsh Vashist, who provided age-appropriate and scientifically accurate information to address their concerns, misperceptions, and confusions.

The session covered topics such as hormonal changes, personal hygiene, emotional well-being, and the importance of healthy habits during adolescence. Students were encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions, fostering a safe and open environment for learning.

The session also emphasized the importance of understanding the changes they and their peers are going through. Overall, the session was well-received, and it contributed positively to the students’ awareness and confidence in managing the changes of puberty.

Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam

Growing Green with Gratitude: Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam at BDBBPS

On World Environment Day, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proudly joined the nationwide movement “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” an inspiring initiative launched by our Hon’ble Prime Minister.

In a heartfelt celebration that beautifully merged love for nature with reverence for mothers, students participated in the campaign with overwhelming enthusiasm. Each child planted a sapling as a living tribute to their mother, honoring her unwavering strength, nurturing spirit, and selfless love.

Carrying placards, watering cans, and smiles of purpose, the students took a solemn pledge to contribute to a greener, cleaner tomorrow. By planting trees near their homes and within their communities, they not only became ambassadors of environmental responsibility but also symbolized the powerful bond between a mother and the Earth—both life-givers in their own right.

This initiative ignited both ecological awareness and emotional connection, instilling a sense of duty in our young changemakers to care for their plants just as their mothers have cared for them. Guided and encouraged by their teachers, they vowed to nurture these green companions into lasting symbols of gratitude and growth.

NCC Camp

From Discipline to Destiny: The BDBBPS Cadets at Annual NCC Camp 2025

The Annual NCC Camp, held from June 2 to 11, 2025,  concluded on a high note, marking a rewarding journey of transformation and growth for our BDBBPS Cadets.

Over these ten intense days, our cadets immersed themselves in a rigorous and enriching experience that went far beyond physical training. Every activity—whether it was drill practice, leadership exercises, or team-building tasks—was a masterclass in cultivating resilience, discipline, and relentless determination.

The cadets not only learned to lead and command with confidence, but also discovered the profound meaning behind the NCC motto—Unity and Discipline. Through engaging sessions and real-time exposure to military-style training, they gained a firsthand understanding of the Armed Forces' values and ethos. These experiences ignited in them a sense of purpose, patriotism, and pride that words can barely encapsulate.

More than just training, this camp served as a crucible for character-building. It instilled in our young cadets the courage to take initiative, the strength to work harmoniously in a team, and the vision to lead by example. The impact of this camp will echo in their personalities, actions, and aspirations for years to come.

We stand immensely proud of each cadet, confident that the values ingrained during this camp will empower them to shine both as responsible citizens and future leaders of India.

NCC Training Camp – Day 8

BDBBPS NCC Training Camp – Day 8: A Day of Empowerment and Enlightenment

Day 8 of the ongoing NCC Training Camp at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School unfolded with renewed energy, discipline, and a deep sense of purpose. The cadets began their day with invigorating physical training and yoga, reinforcing the importance of fitness, mindfulness, and overall well-being.

The morning sessions included a thought-provoking awareness talk on ‘Dahej Pratha’ (Dowry System). Cadets engaged in a meaningful dialogue about this social evil, reflecting on its harmful impact and the need for collective action to eradicate it from society.

Another key highlight was an interactive discussion on “The Role of Youth in Uplifting Society.” Cadets expressed insightful perspectives on how young citizens can be catalysts for positive change, inspired by the values of service, unity, and leadership.

The training also introduced cadets to communication tools and their significance in the Armed Forces, emphasizing clarity, precision, and coordination as critical aspects of military efficiency.

The day remained dynamic with continued sports and recreational activities, fostering teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship.

The evening concluded on an inspiring note with a motivational lecturette by the Commanding Officer (CO). His powerful words instilled a deeper sense of morale, discipline, and commitment in every cadet, leaving them motivated to serve with honour and pride.

Day 8 stood as a testimony to holistic development — physical, intellectual, emotional, and moral — preparing our cadets not just for uniformed service, but for life.
