Parents’ Guide to Nurturing Career Aspirations’

With the aim of enabling students and parents to make
informed career choices, BD Blue Bells Public School emphasizes structured
career guidance through well-planned programmes. Recognizing the importance of
timely mentorship, exposure, and professional counselling, the school organized
a Career Counselling Session titled ‘A Parents’ Guide to Nurturing Career
Aspirations’ for parents and students on January 16, 2026, under the
esteemed patronage of Dr Alka Saxena.
The session was conducted by Ms. Manju Panwar,
a seasoned career counsellor from I Dream Career, an organization
dedicated to guiding students toward informed and fulfilling career paths.
During the parents’ session, Ms. Panwar stressed the importance of structured
career planning, discussed factors influencing career decisions, and explained
the seven key elements essential for making appropriate career choices.
She also highlighted the relevance of psychometric assessments, focusing
on aptitude, personality traits, and individual interests.
Following the session, students undertook a 90-minute
psychometric assessment, which helped them gain insights into their
strengths, interests, and personality attributes. An interactive Q&A
session enabled parents and students to address their concerns, making the
programme engaging and informative. The enthusiastic participation of all
stakeholders made the session a successful initiative, reaffirming the school’s
commitment to holistic career guidance.
