Hosted Genesis – Health & Wellness Fiesta 2026
“Lived Experiences Heard: Real
Voices, Real Change.”
On 16 October 2026, Genesis –
Health & Wellness Fiesta 2026, an Inter-School Mega Life Skills Event,
was organised and hosted under Adept – A Programme for Enhancing Life
Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in, to commemorate World Mental Health Day.
A key highlight of the event was
the Inter-School Dance Drama Competition for Classes IX–XII, based on the theme
“The Invisible Weight We Carry – The Light We Choose to Create… Within Every
Connection is a Ray of Hope!” The occasion was graced by the radiant
presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools.
Through powerful performances
that seamlessly wove together dance, drama and storytelling, students brought
alive the often-unseen realities of emotional well-being, loneliness, stigma,
empathy, resilience and hope. Their performances served as a poignant reminder
that behind every smile may lie an untold story—and that sometimes, a
compassionate connection, a listening ear or a simple gesture of kindness can
become a ray of hope.
The eminent jury for the Inter-School
Dance Drama Competition comprised distinguished personalities, Mr. Vivek
Kwatra, Dr. Smriti Maini and Mr. Pratham Sharma, who brought with them
experience, sensitivity and a deep understanding of human emotions. They
carried the challenging responsibility of looking beyond the performance to
recognise the thought behind it, the emotion within it and the message that
remained long after the stage fell silent.
The Best Team Trophy was
clinched by BD Blue Bells Public School, Sec-10. Being the host school, the
Best Team position was passed on to St. Michael Senior Secondary School. The
First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up teams were Blue Bells Model School, Sector
4 and Moksha International School, respectively.
The event provided students with
a meaningful platform to express themselves, challenge misconceptions
surrounding mental health and discover the power of listening without
judgement. It was more than a competition; it was a celebration of empathy,
courage and human connection. At its heart, Genesis left everyone with a simple
yet powerful message: every voice matters, every story deserves to be heard,
and no one should have to carry an invisible weight alone.
