A First Step Towards Service and Self-Growth: Cubs and Bulbuls Orientation 

A lively orientation on Cubs and Bulbuls was organised on December 23, 2025, for students of Classes III to V. The session was conducted by the Primary Wing Scouts and Guides in-charges, Ms. Kavita Sharma and Mr. Dilpreet, PETs, who engaged the young learners with warmth and clarity. 

The interaction introduced students to the values and framework of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, presenting Cubs and Bulbuls as the foundation of a meaningful journey in character formation. Through thoughtful explanations, students gained insight into core values such as discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and service. Key elements, including the promise, laws, the inspiring motto “Do Your Best,” uniforms, stages of advancement, and badges, were shared in an age-appropriate and engaging manner. 

The facilitators emphasised that the Cubs and Bulbuls programme nurtures learning through joyful and purposeful experiences. Activities like games, songs, nature exploration, camps, and community involvement were highlighted as powerful tools that encourage all-round growth and positive values. 

The session concluded with an introduction to the Cub Bulbul Utsav, leaving the students inspired, curious, and eager to begin their journey as Cubs and Bulbuls.
