Celebrating Excellence, Team Spirit, and Perseverance at Synergy - The Sports Fest 2025 

“True success in sports stems from dedication, determination, and the unwavering spirit to chase one’s dreams.” 

With the vision of fostering sportsmanship, confidence, and holistic development among young learners, the Annual Sports Day, ‘Synergy – The Sports Fest,’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm on February 1, 2025, for students from Pre-Nursery to Class V. 

The event was graced by Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, as the Chief Guest. The school was also privileged to host Mr. Yashdeep Siwach, a distinguished member of the Indian Hockey Team, as the Special Guest. Mr. Priyansh Thakran, an accomplished National Level boxer and swimmer, added further charm to the event. Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools),  honoured the occasion with her gracious presence. 

The festivities commenced with the hoisting of the sports flag, followed by the school anthem, setting a tone of pride and unity. The impressive March Past ceremony saw the young athletes marching in synchronized formations, embodying discipline, and coordination. The Director Madam took the salute and officially declared the event open, marking the beginning of an exhilarating day. 

A highlight of the celebration was the Lighting of the Flame and Torch Ceremony, symbolizing perseverance, and unity. Young sports achievers proudly carried the torch, igniting a spark of inspiration among their peers. This was followed by an exciting lineup of events, including sprint races, relay races, yoga displays, song presentations, and dynamic dance performances. 

The students from Nursery to Class V showcased their athletic talents with remarkable energy. The sports festivities were further enriched by enthusiastic participation from parents and teachers, who competed in fun-filled events like the Lemon and Spoon Race, Musical Chairs, Balance the Matki Race, and the Tie-a-Tie Challenge. 

The winners and outstanding performers of the Sports Fest were felicitated by the Chief Guest and other esteemed dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Yashdeep Siwach shared his inspiring journey as an athlete, motivating students to embrace sports as a lifelong pursuit. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati lauded the participants and emphasized the invaluable role of sports in shaping character, resilience, and teamwork. 

A moment of immense pride and celebration was the felicitation of our exceptional national-level achievers – Gulmaaira Sharda (a skating prodigy of Grade IV), Angad Shahi (a budding football star of Grade IV), and Aryan Tyagi (a talented cricketer of Grade XI). Their remarkable achievements were recognized with mementos, inspiring their peers to strive for excellence. 

The event culminated with the Prize Distribution Ceremony and a heartfelt vote of thanks. The day was not just about competition but about camaraderie, resilience, and the joy of participation. The winners – be it students, parents, or teachers – carried home medals, trophies, and cherished memories of a day filled with excitement, achievements, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
