STUDY SKILLS MODULE
"The
effort you invest today blossoms into tomorrow’s achievements."
BD Blue Bells Public School conducted a Study Skills session
for Class IX student on April 30, 2026, under ADEPT – A Programme for
Enhancing Life Skills, Powered by
wellnesswise.in. The session was facilitated by Ms. Chetna Vashisht,
Associate Psychologist at My Peegu, who guided students on effective study
techniques, time management, and maintaining focus amidst academic challenges.
The session began with an introduction to the stress loop,
helping students understand how avoidance often increases stress rather than
reducing it. Students were then introduced to evidence-based learning
strategies, including retrieval practice, spaced learning, learning
through mistakes, and active learning, emphasizing their role in
improving understanding and retention.
In the final segment, students explored the four major
learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic.
Practical strategies for each style were discussed, enabling students to
identify their preferred learning methods and make studying more effective and
less stressful.
