Festivals are occasions of great happiness and
togetherness.
To celebrate the auspicious festival of
Janmashtami, the students of Class I presented a Special Assembly on August 28,
2021. The assembly commenced
with the Gayatri Mantra and the School Prayer. It was followed by the pledge,
news, thought for the day and vocabulary words. Thereafter, students
beautifully depicted the life story of Lord Krishna through a
well-choreographed dance drama. They also talked about the teachings of Lord
Krishna which are relevant even in the present times. The choir presented a melodious
song on Janmashtami. The assembly concluded with the display of Janmashtami art
& craft activities done by the students.
Addressing the students on the occasion, Honourable
Director Madam narrated the iconic story of the friendship between Krishna and
Sudama and urged the students to value friendship.
The assembly was enjoyed by everyone and added to
the festive fervour.
