THEATRIX
2026 – A CELEBRATION OF THEATRE, CREATIVITY AND EXPRESSION
BD Blue Bells Public
School organised Theatrix 2026, the Inter House Mega Theatre Fest,
on May 14 and 15, 2026, under the able guidance of Ms. Soumya Gulati, Deputy
Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools. The
two-day event celebrated creativity, expression, and the transformative power
of theatre through captivating English plays by Indian playwrights and Hindi
comedy theatrical productions presented by the four Houses.
The programme commenced
with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome to the
dignitaries and guests by the Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia. Ms. Soumya Gulati
formally declared the event open and encouraged students to continue exploring
creativity and self-expression through the performing arts. The students
enthralled the audience with their remarkable performances, confident dialogue
delivery, expressive acting, and impactful stage presentations. The event was
adjudged by an esteemed panel of jury whose valuable feedback greatly inspired
the participants.
The Closing Ceremony was
graced by Major Mohommed Ali Shah, a distinguished Indian Army veteran,
acclaimed motivational and TEDx speaker, actor, and youth mentor, as the Chief
Guest. He applauded the students for their confidence, creativity, and
dedication towards theatre and encouraged them to pursue their passions
wholeheartedly by sharing anecdotes from his own life.
