Class 7A conducted a special assembly to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas. The assembly began with a prayer and a speech by students who explained _why the Kargil War was held, how Operation Vijay took place, and about the sacrifice of 527 soldiers.
The
highlight was a detailed patriotic dance drama "Desh Pehle" which
depicted the Kargil War — from soldiers bidding farewell to families, fighting
in -40°C on the peaks, to hoisting the Tricolor on Tiger Hill.
The assembly
concluded with slogan shouting and the National Anthem.
