Back to School Series

BD Blue Bells Public School organised an engaging ‘Back to School Series’ for the parents of Nursery, LKG and UKG students on 19 September 2026. The initiative provided parents with an opportunity to reconnect with the school’s learning environment and gain meaningful insights into the pedagogical practices and experiences designed to nurture young learners.

The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Associate Director – Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools. Rooted in the principles of experiential, joyful and child-centred learning, the sessions offered parents a glimpse into the innovative approaches adopted to make learning purposeful and age-appropriate.

For the parents of Nursery students, a ‘Reading & Writing Readiness’ session was conducted, introducing them to foundational skills and developmentally appropriate strategies that support early literacy. The session also highlighted simple ways in which parents can reinforce these skills at home through engaging and meaningful activities.

The LKG parents participated in ‘Fun with Numbers’, which demonstrated how mathematical concepts can be introduced through playful and enjoyable experiences. For UKG parents, the ‘Read-O-Phonics’ session showcased an interactive approach to strengthening early reading and phonics skills, making the learning process engaging and effective.

A vibrant Gallery Walk was organised for all the parents, providing them with an opportunity to explore and appreciate the creative work and learning experiences of the students. The displays reflected the children’s imagination, curiosity, participation and progress, offering parents a closer glimpse into their learning journey.

In addition, a Gallery Walk was curated for the Playgroup students, showcasing their age-appropriate creative explorations and early learning experiences in a colourful and engaging manner.

The ‘Back to School Series’ served as a meaningful platform for strengthening the partnership between parents and the school. The enthusiastic participation and positive response from the parents reflected their appreciation of the school’s progressive academic vision and its continued endeavour to nurture confident, joyful and well-rounded learners.
