A Celebration of Wisdom, Compassion
and Devotion
The students of Class III-B
presented a thoughtfully curated Special Assembly to celebrate the auspicious
occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The presentation beautifully intertwined
devotion, cultural traditions and creative expression, making the celebration
both meaningful and memorable.
The assembly commenced with the Aarti
of Lord Ganesha, invoking an atmosphere of peace and reverence. This was
followed by soulful devotional songs that added warmth and spiritual fervour to
the celebration.
The young presenters then captivated
the audience with a meaningful skit centred on compassion towards all forms
of life. Through their confident performances, they conveyed the importance
of kindness, empathy and respect for every living being. The students further
explored the symbolism associated with Lord Ganesha, highlighting His
distinctive features and the profound values they embody: wisdom, attentive
listening, humility, discernment, and contentment. Each element served
as a gentle reminder of the qualities that enrich our lives and guide us toward
becoming more thoughtful and compassionate individuals.
Adding a lively and festive touch to
the proceedings, an energetic dance performance filled the stage with
colour, rhythm and joy, bringing the celebration to a delightful close. The School
Leadership Team commended the young presenters for their sincere efforts,
confident participation and thoughtful portrayal of the festival’s deeper
message.
