BLUE BELLS PUBLIC SCHOOL, SECTOR 10, GURUGRAM CELEBRATES LABOUR DAY

‘God give me work, till my life shall end,  and life till my work is done…’ 

It is only through labour and honest efforts, by grim energy and resolute courage that one move on to better things. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with conscientious excellence. To appreciate the contribution of workforce, the school commemorated ‘Labour Day’ on May1, 2021. The year 2020 brought unprecedented challenges with Covid-19 pandemic effecting all spheres of practical life. The journey of the school however remained undeterred. With the same zeal and enthusiasm, the Blue Bellians organized a special assembly on a virtual platform showcasing their spirit that nothing can stop them from honouring their commitment. The occasion was embellished by the illustrious presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati , esteemed Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools. Mr. S.N. Batra, General Manager Corporate Affairs , BBGS , Mr. Ajay Thakur , Deputy General Manager , BBGS and Mr. Achal Jain, Controller Finance & Accounts, BBGS also blessed all with their dynamic presence.

The celebration was given a befitting start through  a video showcasing the glimpses of offline and online mode of honouring the multitasking force (MTS ) of the school. The students presented a  poem  and dance that threw light on educating and supporting the labour in best possible way. They also highlighted the historical events that contributed to the emergence of labour rights and the significance of the day in the present time.  The objective of the event was to develop  a better understanding of our helpers among our students so that they  learn to respect and appreciate their efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Ma’am complemented and applauded students’ and teachers’ efforts for making the event a success. She rightly quoted that it is labour indeed who puts the difference on everything and thanked them for their untiring and wholehearted contribution for the school. Mr. Arpita Acharya , Officiating Principal , Blue Bells Public School proposed the Vote of Thanks.
