Celebrating
Compassion in Action: BD Blue Bells Public School Honours Healthcare Heroes on
Doctor's Day
“Wherever the art of medicine is
loved, there is also a love of humanity." — Hippocrates
BD Blue Bells Public School, under the aegis of Health
& Wellness Programme, observed Doctor’s Day on July 1 and
July 3, 2026 to salute the commitment and compassionate service of the
medical fraternity. Special assemblies in the Pre Primary, Primary and Middle
Wings were conducted to celebrate the invaluable role of doctors as guardians
of health and hope.
The occasion came alive through eloquent poems,
inspiring reflections, and thoughtful presentations by students, who paid
tribute to the resilience, empathy, and selfless spirit of healthcare
professionals. Their confident participation reflected a deep appreciation for
the noble profession and reinforced the values of compassion and service.
A key highlight of the celebration was an engaging
awareness session conducted by the school’s doctor, Dr. Rita Kakkar and
nurses, Ms. Nisha and Ms. Neelam on First Aid Essentials and Monsoon
Health Tips. The interactive session equipped students with practical
knowledge on preventive healthcare and personal hygiene empowering them to make
informed health choices.
Adding a heartfelt touch to the celebration,
students presented handcrafted appreciation cards to the school doctor and nurses
as a token of gratitude for their unwavering care and dedication. The assembly concluded
with inspiring message from the Principal and Wing Leaders, who applauded the
invaluable contribution of healthcare professionals. They encouraged the students
to respect and value their contribution and emphasized to adopt a healthy
lifestyle.
The students were also urged to share the
knowledge and awareness gained with their families, friends, and the wider
community, helping to promote good health and ensure that everyone remains safe
and disease-free. Overall, the assembly was meaningful, engaging, and left a
lasting impact on everyone present.
