From a tiny wheat seed to a warm, delicious chapati — UKG
students explored the wonderful journey of food through a fun and hands-on Farm
to Table activity!
Little hands got busy kneading the dough, rolling it
gently and discovering how wheat travels from the farm to our plates. Through this engaging experience, children
learned about the journey from wheat to flour, flour to dough and finally,
dough to chapati — all while building independence, strengthening fine-motor
skills and developing respect and appreciation for food.
A little learning, a lot of hands-on fun and plenty of
proud little smiles!
