Joy
of Giving
Theme:
A Celebration of Kindness
Compassion grows when
students learn that giving isn’t about what they have, but about how much they
care. Guided by this belief, Blue Bells Group of Schools celebrated the spirit
of kindness and compassion through a fun filled event “Joy of Giving” turning
a festive gathering into a purposeful learning experience.
Thoughtfully designed by
the Health & Wellness Team under the inspiring guidance of Dr.
Alka Saxena, the programme echoed the school’s belief in nurturing
emotionally & socially aware, responsible learners. The inclusion of
students from DIKSHA added profound depth to the celebration. Their
moving Nukkad Natak reminded the audience that empathy begins when we
listen, and awareness is the first act of kindness. Students were engaged in a
delightful craft activity, creating their own snowmen to promote compassion,
warmth, and empathy. Further to
incorporate elements of care and share, activities like Follow the Leader,
Reindeer Hop Race and Candy Path Race encouraged a sense of accomplishment.
The narrative of Santa’s
Skill Box during the special assembly transformed the idea of Christmas
gifts into life lessons revealing that the most enduring treasures of life are creativity,
laughter, expression, music, empathy, and courage.
The event was a huge
success, with students coming together to celebrate the joy of giving and
kindness. The morning concluded with a simple truth that lingered long after
the applause faded: When children learn to carry kindness within, education
becomes not just preparation for life, but a gift to the world.
