Rakhi of
Gratitude for Our Brave Soldiers
The spirit of Raksha Bandhan came
alive at BD Blue Bells Public School as students from Playgroup to Class V
marked the occasion with warmth, creativity and a heartfelt expression of
gratitude towards the nation’s soldiers.
As part of the celebration, the young
learners crafted vibrant rakhis and thoughtfully designed greeting cards
dedicated to the brave jawans who stand guard for the country. Students of Classes
IV and V went a step further by penning personal letters, sharing their
admiration, respect and heartfelt wishes for the soldiers.
Adding a special touch to the
initiative, the students of Class V visited the NCC Office,
carrying their handmade creations and letters. They tied rakhis on the
soldiers’ wrists and offered them sweets as a gesture of affection and respect.
In return, the soldiers blessed the children and presented them with gifts,
creating a beautiful exchange of warmth and goodwill.
The celebration allowed the young
students to understand the deeper meaning of Raksha Bandhan while nurturing creativity,
gratitude, patriotism and respect for those who dedicate themselves to
protecting the nation. The memorable interaction left the children with
cherished moments and a deeper appreciation for the courage and service of our
armed forces.
