BDBBPS HOSTS SCHOOL CINEMA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2025
BD Blue Bells Public
School hosted an engaging School Cinema session on November 18, 2025, as part
of the School Cinema International Film Festival 2025 under the aegis of
Adept -A Program for Enhancing Life Skills powered by wellnesswise.in.
The event was curated
under the vision-driven guidance of our mentor Dr. Alka Saxena. It brought
together students from several GPSC schools, reflecting the school’s belief in
creating inclusive spaces where young learners can connect and learn from one
another. The students had the opportunity to watch a carefully chosen set of
films that combined relatable stories with meaningful life lessons. Three
films, Mystery Lane: The Secret of Templers, A Pain in the Butt, and Croak
Show, were screened during the session.
The vision of the school
for this shared viewing experience was to encourage scholars to look at
situations from different perspectives, develop empathy, and engage in
thoughtful conversations. This initiative fits naturally into our broader
approach to holistic learning that extends beyond textbooks, encourages
cultural understanding, and helps students grow into responsible and reflective
individuals.
The festival not only broadened the students’ perspectives but also contributed significantly to their emotional and social development. As part of this initiative, age-appropriate film screening sessions were organized for students of Grade I–VIII, and Grade IX & XI on November 19, 20, and 21, 2025. The school envisioned this shared viewing experience as a means to encourage students to examine situations from multiple perspectives, foster empathy, and engage in meaningful and reflective discussions.
