A
Celebration of Stories, Voices, and Imagination: World Book Day at BD Blue
Bells Public School
The
campus of BD Blue Bells Public School transformed into a vibrant celebration of
stories, imagination, and expression as students marked World Book Day and
English Language Day with remarkable enthusiasm.
For
the young learners of Playgroup to Class II, the presence of grandparents added
a deeply heartwarming touch. Their captivating storytelling sessions, rich with
values and life lessons, created moments of warmth, connection, and joyful
discovery, turning stories into cherished memories.
The
students of Classes III to V brought literature to life as they stepped into
the shoes of their favourite characters. Dressed with creativity and speaking
with confidence, they did not just present characters; they embodied them,
reflecting clarity of thought and a growing love for reading.
For
Classes VI to VIII, the celebration unfolded as an immersive literary
experience. The DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Programme inspired
uninterrupted reading time, while a Special Assembly featuring powerful scenes
from Macbeth added depth and dramatic flair. Interactive author sessions on the
BriBooks platform and an engaging RJ show filled with literary trivia further
ignited curiosity, creativity, and confident expression.
The
day stood as a powerful reminder that books are not just pages to be read, but
worlds to be explored, shaping minds, nurturing voices, and inspiring lifelong
learners.
