GRAND ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION AT BDBBPS

Brahm Dutt Public School joyously marked its Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function for the students of Classes VI to XII, on December 16, 2023, bringing to life the forgotten pages of history with a mesmerising portrayal of Raja Surajmal, the illustrious king of Bharatpur. The event showcased the extraordinary talents of Blue Bellians and celebrated their accomplishments in both academics and co-curricular activities.

The festivities commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the Diya, followed by a warm welcome address from the esteemed Principal, Dr. Trilok Singh Bist. The enchanting Ganesh Vandana and the vibrant orchestral presentation, 'Rang Tarang,' set a captivating atmosphere for the unfolding events. The recognition of Blue Bellians' achievements served as a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence.

The highlight of the evening was the spectacular performance titled 'The Saga of Raja Surajmal,' which mesmerised the audience and brought the forgotten hero back to life. The talent displayed by the Blue Bellians left the audience in awe, earning well-deserved praise.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Major General Rohit Sawney (YSM), who encouraged the audience to applaud the meritorious students with a standing ovation. Guest of Honour, Ms. Deepti Sawhney, an eminent educationist and philanthropist, commended the achievers and motivated them to continue pushing their limits.

The two-hour program, filled with diverse performances and recognitions, captivated the audience, providing moments of joy and inspiration. Ms. Suneeta Kaul, the Middle Wing Leader, expressed gratitude in the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the visionary management for their unwavering support and Vice Chairman Shri Ashish Gulati for his forward-looking approach in enhancing the glory of the Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The event concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. In essence, it was a vibrant and memorable celebration to be cherished by all for years to come.

CYBERSPAZE 2023

CYBERSPAZE 2023 - THE MEGA IT INTRA-SCHOOL FEST CONCLUDES WITH MEGA SUCCESS

 CyberSpaze 2023- An Intra-School Mega IT Event was organised for the students of Classes VI to XII, from December 4 to 8, 2023 under the able leadership and guidance of Madam Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director, IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

 A warm welcome note was extended by the Principal, Dr Trilok Singh Bist, during the Opening Ceremony as the students geared up to put their best foot forward. Ms. Anshuka Aneja declared the event open and gave the much-awaited event a kickstart by wishing Good Luck to all the participants.

 The students participated in many activities through the course of these days, honing their IT skills and raising awareness on Cyber Security in the process. Dr Rakshit Tandon, Cyber Security Evangelist, was the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony. He conducted sessions sensitising the students about the cause and prevention of cyber-crimes. The Closing Ceremony was also graced by the presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, revered Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

 The event was a grand success and left the students more empowered and aware than ever.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers, followed by informative and inspirational speeches by the Principal and the Middle Wing Leader. The assembly started with the Morning Prayer, Pledge, and thought for the day. Teachers enthralled the audience with their energetic and graceful dance moves. Students pulsated with excitement when their teachers presented dance.

The celebratory mood continued with a self-composed poem. Subsequently, a song was presented by a group of teachers. Students were elated to see their teachers performing and celebrating the day with zeal and enthusiasm. Not only this but the famous game of musical chairs was also a part of the celebration. 

Respected Principal Sir, in his address, encouraged the students to dream big and work hard. He also appreciated the teachers for their lively performances. Ms. Suneeta Kaul, Middle Wing Leader greeted the children warmly on the special day. She compared the children to beautiful blossoms and motivated them to spread their fragrance everywhere. The celebration was full of joy and laughter for the students.

Nursery Guruparv Assembly

‘Nourish your heart and spirit with a positive belief system. Let it be your compass, leading you to goodness and bringing calmness and joy.’

 To celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the students of Class Nursery and Kalpana Chawla House (Primary wing) organised Special Assemblies in different slots on November 23 & 24, 2023, with great enthusiasm. The assemblies aimed to familiarise students with the profound teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, such as humanity, compassion, humility, and equality.

 The Nursery Presentation began with the recitation of the Gaytri Mantra and prayer. The students confidently shared insights about the significance of this auspicious day.

 The Primary Wing Presentation commenced with the soulful rendition of ‘Ek Onkar-The Mool Mantra’ followed by its wonderful explanation by the students. Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings, emphasizing the messages of humanity and community service were conveyed through a very captivating presentation. The assembly concluded with the mesmerizing rendition of ‘Shabads’ by the students and teachers.

 The School Leadership Team wished Happy Gurupurab to everyone and encouraged all to embrace the values of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

PEER EDUCATORS’ INTRODUCTORY SESSION ( 2023-24)

At Blue Bells, we believe that nurturing the interconnected dimensions of values, life skills and wellness is essential in order to provide a wholesome education to children. Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), Blue Bells Group of Schools structured the Health &Wellness Programme with the strong vision of equipping the students with knowledge and awareness of their Health and Wellbeing thus ensuring a strong foundation of their childhood.

The Peer Educator Programme was launched by the Health & Wellness Team in the year 2015 which comprises of a Health & Wellness Ambassador from Class XII, a Peer Mentor from Class XI and 14 Peer Educators from Classes VI to X along with a Junior Health & Wellness Ambassador from the Primary Wing. These students are an integral part of the Student Council and are selected through a well-planned process. They play an active role by working as a bridge between mentors and pupils and also conduct especially designed sessions for the students along with Counsellors and Life Skills Facilitators. In furtherance of the vision, the Peer Educators for the Session 2023-24 were selected through a  structured  procedure comprising the

Written Round, JAM Session, Team Building Activities and Personal Interview with Dr. Alka.

With the aim of giving an insight into the Health & Wellness Programme, and fostering a sense of teamwork, a joint Introductory Session for newly elected Peer Educators of Blue Bells Model School and Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School was organised on November 2, 2023, in the premises of BDBBPS. The session was presided over by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, BBGS. The session was facilitated by Health & Wellness Ambassadors and Peer Mentors from both the schools. These emerging leaders led various activities with their teams and shared valuable insights on different topics. Together, they guided their peers to actively participate in discussions and encouraged them to express their opinions on relevant subjects.

Dr. Alka apprised the students about the Do's and Don’ts of Peer Educators  in a creative manner, providing them with valuable insights into their roles and be mindful while performing their duties. She elaborated on the responsibilities that come with the role. During the session, Ma'am not only briefed them on the key takeaways but also offered motivation for their future goals. She urged them to harness their capabilities and give their best in all their endeavors.

The session proved to be an enjoyable and enriching learning experience for all the students. They departed with cherished memories and newfound friendships, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

Diwali Class Decoration Competition in Classes IX to XII

On the occasion of Diwali, Classes IX to XII decorated their classrooms and corridors with rangolis, diyas and other decorative materials. The theme for the decoration competition was LET’S CELEBRATE AN ECO-FRIENDLY DIWALI. The classroom soft boards looked vibrant and colourful with posters of Lord Ganesha and Mahalakshmi and various slogans. Colorful door hangings and the bandhanwars made with mango leaves made the entrances look beautiful. Students also made rangolis inside the classrooms and in the corridors.

A Classroom decoration competition was held to adjudge the creativity of the students. The Middle Wing Leader, Madam Suneeta Kaul, and Primary Wing Leader, Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra were the esteemed judges for the event.

The boards outside the classrooms looked pretty with diyas, lanterns, colourful posters, etc. which said “Say no to crackers.” The Class teachers discussed the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali with all the students. The students composed poems and sang songs to celebrate the occasion.

The entire Wing wore a festive look and imparted a feeling of joy. The Principal and the Wing Leaders congratulated all the students for their efforts.

GENESIS -HEALTH AND WELLNESS FIESTA 2023-

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public  School proudly hosted ‘Genesis -Health and Wellness Fiesta-An Inter School Mega Life Skills Event’ on November 08, 2023, under the aegis of Adept -A Program for Enhancing Life Skills powered by wellnesswise.in .  The Debate was centered on the idea that 'Mental Health is a Fundamental Human Right.’ Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, was the soul and spirit of the celebration and played a pivotal role in shaping and materializing the event concept.

An Inter-School Debate Competition for Classes IX-XII was orchestrated to commemorate the occasion.  The topic for creative articulation was – “Is Talking about Mental Health  a Taboo in India?’ Distinguished guests  from the realms of education adjudged the participants' creativity and expression. It was an outstanding opportunity for Generation Now to harness their creative abilities and showcase their remarkable expression in the battle of words. The students of renowned eighteen GPSC schools participated in the event with great spirit and fervour. 

An engaging and engrossing session was organised for the accompanying teachers which began with Mindful Mandala followed by thought-provoking activities where the team connected with their feelings, their thoughts and help them to express with clarity . The hidden spark in the facilitators was invoked and  they  felt rejuvenated and grateful. A Creative Corner added a spice to the event where the students were thoroughly engrossed in activities related to Critical & Creative Thinking and soothing Relaxation Techniques. 

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, the esteemed Director, extended her felicitations to both the winners and the team for their outstanding presentation. Ma’am emphasized the significance of good mental health in fostering holistic personality development.

Dr. Alka heartily praised the participating schools and the in-house team for their dedicated commitment, which contributed significantly to the event's overwhelming success.
