EARTH DAY CELEBRATED BY THE YOUNG BRIGADE OF NURSERY TO V

"Earth has always given us every comfort and necessity of life. It takes care of everyone like a mother and we must also protect it and care for it in the best way."

This Earth Day, our little planet warriors exhibited their affection and concern about their invaluable planet in their own little ways.

Students of Classes Nursery-V did various art and craft activities to create awareness about different ways to heal the planet. A Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Classes II B to spread the message of preserving our precious planet. The students presented a melodious song on the theme ‘Return to Nature’ with a very powerful message that respecting the rules of nature is the only solution in the long run. A thoughtful poem and a beautiful dance performance reminded everyone of their duties towards Mother Earth as responsible citizens. Students presented an engrossing ‘Nukkad Natak’ stating the importance of keeping the environment green and pollution free.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, encouraged the students to be more responsible towards the environment and take small steps on regular basis to protect our precious planet.

WISHING GOOD LUCK TO THE STUDENTS

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School organised a ‘Havan Ceremony' to seek the blessings of the Almighty for the students appearing in class X and XII Board Examinations. Teachers and students participated in the Havan with utmost devotion and prayed that their efforts and hard work should reap the rewards of success. Hon’ble Principal (Off), Ms. Arpita Acharya and Middle Wing Incharge, Ms. Suneeta Kaul extended their best wishes to the students for their upcoming Board Exams and encouraged them to put their best foot forward.

GREEN DAY CELEBRATION

 “A green planet is a happy clean planet!”

With this belief, Green Day was celebrated in the school to commemorate the birth anniversary of Honorable Founder Chairperson, Late Sri B. D. Gulati ji. An array of activities were conducted to mark the day and create awareness about Mother Earth and to cherish the greenery we are blessed with. The students of Class I contributed towards making the nature greener by planting saplings in the school garden. A special assembly ‘Invest in Our Planet’ was conducted by the students of Class VA to spread the message of restoring the green colour of the planet loud and clear. The students presented a melodious song and a well-choreographed dance to convey their feelings for nature. Along with other regular features of the assembly, the highlight of the programme was a Panel Discussion on 7R’s wherein the students posed as young scientists and discussed about different steps in detail and how each of these actions can be put into practice to achieve a sustainable future for all.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, motivated and enriched the young minds about the ways in which we all could contribute to save Planet Earth.

An Awareness Campaign was also organized by the students of Class V in school premises to sensitize the students about the importance of saving environment by using 7R’s (Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle and Rot). It was a remarkable beginning of the day where the Blue Bellians showcased their commitment of heralding a new horizon for the nation by conserving resources.

Keeping in mind the fitness and well-being of the students, sports activities were also conducted for the students of the Pre-Primary Wing.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

“Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature.” 

The wealth of a nation is its natural resources and as a responsible citizen, one needs to ponder and rethink how to save this precious bounty of nature in every possible manner. To bring an awareness and consciousness amongst the students to preserve nature’s countless gifts, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector-10, Gurugram celebrated ‘Earth Day’ on April 22, 2022. 

The special assembly was conducted by Class X B. It commenced on a pious note with prayer, news and thought related to environment. An informative presentation by the scholars highlighted how the depleting natural resources can be preserved and safeguarded. Students presented a skit conveying the message that each and every person should develop good ethics and values like tolerance, patience and most importantly kindness and compassion towards nature and living things. Self-composed poems on the burning issue of conserving the resources followed by a scintillating dance performance left the audience gasping for more. Through the soulful performance, the Blue Bellians exhibited their commitment of abiding environmental etiquettes in everyday life to conserve the green heritage of the earth and fulfill the vision of their alma mater earnestly.

Ms. Sapna Yadav, Class Teacher of XB motivated the students to be like  eco-warriors for  conserving precious flora and fauna. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suneeta Kaul , Middle Wing Incharge appreciated the efforts of the students and urged them to bring in  a constructive change with their positive energy and resolute focus.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION : CLASS ASSEMBLY BY II A

“Live each festival as it passes; breathe the air and taste the joy to feel the power of festivities.”

To celebrate the auspicious festival of Baisakhi, the students of Class II A presented a Special Assembly and brought in a festive feel in their colorful attire. The assembly commenced with the Gayatri Mantra and the School Prayer. It was followed by the pledge, news and thought for the day. A beautiful skit and a well-choreographed bhangra dance were the highlights of the day. A talk on the significance of celebrating Baisakhi was informative and interesting.

The festive fervour of the assembly was enjoyed and appreciated by all.

Do Svidaniya-2022 : Farewell Hosted By Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

Schooldays are the happiest and golden days in the whole span of human life. Recollecting memories of school days is a way of holding onto the things one loves and never to lose them. It’s a difficult moment when one leaves the school premises and usher into a whole new world to pursue higher education. To make this journey more cherishing, the students, staff and Management of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School bade a fond farewell , ‘Do Svidaniya-2022’, ,to the outgoing students of Class XII on 15 April 2022.

The Farewell, which was organized by Class XI students, was to honour their seniors and wish them the very best for their future. The celebration commenced  with Ganesh Vandana to seek the blessings of the Almighty  followed by  an array of beautiful items to entertain the out-going students. Some of these included melodic singing, western dance, ramp walk and fun games. The singing and dancing had everyone tapping their feet with the most popular being the Bhangra which was performed with great gusto. The cultural performances were followed by many thought-provoking speeches by the juniors and sharing of memories of the time spent with the seniors of the school and wishing them well. Many of these left everyone teary-eyed. This was also an occasion for the Batch of 2022 to look back at their time in school and appreciate the knowledge that they gained and the values that they were taught. Titles were conferred to XII Class students. A ‘Talent Hunt’ session  conducted for them was the show stopper.

Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice-Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to be the best version of themselves. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Honourable Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools addressed the gathering and urged the students to be honest and be brave in all walks of life. Ms. Arpita Acharya, Principal (Officiating) blessed the students and advised them to gear up for their upcoming exams . It was a befitting close to the celebration which was cherished by all.

CITATION CEREMONY

Citation Ceremony was organised for the outgoing Class of 2021-2022 on April 14,2022.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Honourable Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools. Ma'am addressed the students and parents and congratulated them on the occasion. Ma'am also assured them that their alma mater would always support them in all their endeavours.

The ceremony was initiated with a Diya Lighting Ceremony and was followed by a host of cultural events including the School Song. Each student of the outgoing Class XII was felicitated with a Citation during the ceremony. The framed Citations highlighted their talents and achievements in the years gone by.

The parents of the students were also a part of the celebration and wished the students the very best. Ms. Arpita Acharya, Officiating Principal, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School congratulated the parents and students and wished them good luck for their life ahead.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION

“The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals.”

Baisakhi is a festival of tremendous joy and celebration. Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervour and gaiety and to acquaint the students with the rich culture and heritage of India, Baisakhi celebration was held in Classes Nursery-V on April 12, 2022 & April 13, 2022 with great zeal.

The school premises was aptly decorated to create an aura of the harvest season. The students of Classes Nursery – II came dressed in colourful traditional Punjabi outfits. They created beautiful kites with colourful papers and enjoyed colouring and decorating a ‘Dhol’ in their own creative ways.

The Primary Wing of the school organised an ‘Intra-class Bhangra Competition’ for the students of Classes III & IV and Class V on April 12, 2022 and April 14, 2022 respectively to add to the festivities. The energy of the participants was so high that everyone including the audience, comperers and judges started dancing to the tunes of Bhangra. The competition was judged by Ms. Shipra Tangri, Mr. Abhinav and Ms. Pooja Bhatnagar, the dance faculty of the school. The result of the competition is as under-

MORNING ASSEMBLY FOR CLASSES I & II

“Let’s move ahead…learn and grow.’

As the students embarked upon their journey into the Session 2022-23, the first assembly was conducted on April 8, 2022  by the students of Classes I & II. The students started the assembly with the Gayatri Mantra, followed by the school prayer and the pledge.

The choir group mesmerized everyone with a melodious Welcome Song. The students shared a beautiful ‘Thought for the Day’ and presented the news headlines very confidently. They showcased a sense of responsibility as they spoke about the classroom rules.

Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader encouraged the students to make their school days a great learning experience by participating in all the activities whole-heartedly and by following the rules.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn event where all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them as student leaders. Investiture Ceremony is not just about pinning up of the badges, but about taking charge of the various responsibilities as student leaders of the school, and take it to greater heights with their leadership, decision making skills, communication and teamwork.

Today, the selected students were honoured with their respective badges for the posts of School Ambassador, Head Girl, Head Boy, Sports Captain and the other posts. The Student Council members took an oath to diligently work for the school.

Both, the students leaders of the newly inducted, and the old council addressed the gathering. The proud parents of the Council members were also present on the occasion.

Madam Arpita Acharya, officiating Principal, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, adressed the gathering and encouraged the newly elected council to put in honest efforts for every endeavour and become an inspiration for others.
