Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School joyfully celebrated World Book Day with students of Classes VI to VIII, embracing the 2025 theme, ‘Read Your Way’. Learners brought along books of their choice—diverse in genre, language, and style—and immersed themselves in reading, while also sharing reflections, insights, and favourite excerpts with their peers. This exchange sparked lively discussions and a sense of literary community.

Teachers actively participated as reading companions, guiding conversations and encouraging deeper engagement. The experience not only nurtured a love for reading but also cultivated imagination, empathy, and critical thinking. By stepping beyond their usual preferences, students discovered new perspectives and enriched their understanding of the written word.

In a heartfelt tribute to the visionary Founder Chairperson, Late Shri Brahm Dutt Gulati ji, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proudly hosted the Shri Brahm Dutt Gulati Memorial Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament on April 21 & 22, 2025, under the esteemed patronage of GPSC.

Bringing together over 250 spirited participants from 20 renowned schools across the city, the tournament was a celebration of resilience, precision, and sporting excellence. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and harmony, followed by a soul-stirring Ganesh Vandana performed by students, invoking divine blessings for the days ahead.

The event was formally declared open by Ms. Alka Singh, Vice-Chairperson, GPSC and Principal, Blue Bells Model School. In her inspiring address, she urged the budding athletes to embrace competition with integrity and unity, embodying the values that Shri B.D. Gulati ji stood for. Adding to the energy of the opening, a friendly exhibition match between Ms. Singh and Chief Referee Mr. Prashant Yadav captivated the audience and set the competitive tone for the tournament.

Across two dynamic days, the school campus transformed into a hub of spirited matches, echoing with cheers, claps, and the rhythm of determination. More than a contest, the event became a platform for connection, collaboration, and character building, celebrating both legacy and the limitless potential of youth.

The Closing Ceremony, graced by the honourable Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, was a fitting culmination to this grand celebration. Her words of encouragement resonated deeply with the young players, reminding them that perseverance and passion are the true hallmarks of champions.

As the tournament drew to a close, the Overall Runners-up Trophy was claimed by Bal Bharati Public School, Manesar, while DPS Sector 45, Gurugram emerged as the Overall Champions. The prize distribution ceremony honoured not just victory but effort, enthusiasm, and the enduring spirit of sportsmanship.

This event was not just a tribute—it was a legacy relived, passed on, and carried forward with pride, purpose, and promise.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

In a spirited celebration of Earth Day, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proudly observed a ‘Zero-Waste Challenge Day,’ inspiring students to embrace sustainability as a way of life.

The students from Classes VI to VIII took up the meaningful challenge of minimizing waste for an entire day, fostering awareness about mindful consumption and responsible waste management. Through vibrant banners and thought-provoking posters, they voiced the urgent call to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, while engaging in dialogues on curbing single-use plastics, repurposing everyday items, and recycling resources like paper and cardboard.

The initiative went beyond environmental consciousness—it nurtured empathy, responsibility, and action. It encouraged every student to reflect on their choices, reimagine their routines, and commit to making a tangible difference, not just for the planet, but for future generations.

Together, they reaffirmed a powerful truth: sustainable change begins with small, intentional steps, and each of us holds the potential to lead it.

 Celebrating Academic Excellence: Felicitation Ceremony at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School hosted a heartwarming Felicitation Ceremony to honour the academic brilliance and unwavering commitment of students from Classes VI to IX and XI for the session 2024–25. This celebration recognized not only those who excelled academically but also those who demonstrated exceptional dedication through 100% attendance—truly embodying the spirit of perseverance and consistency.

The ceremony came alive with a powerful and uplifting dance performance by the students, filling the atmosphere with energy and motivation. It was a vibrant reminder that excellence takes many forms and that passion and determination go hand in hand.

Ms. Madhu Talwar, the dynamic Middle Wing Leader, addressed the gathering with heartfelt words. She congratulated the achievers and encouraged every student to dream big and push boundaries. Her inspiring message on resilience and hard work resonated deeply with all present.

Trophies and certificates were conferred upon the proud achievers by the esteemed Leadership Team, in recognition of their dedication and outstanding performance. The proud smiles of students and their families lit up the hall, reflecting the joy of achievement and the power of encouragement.

The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose. More than just a ceremony, it was a celebration of growth, potential, and the collective journey towards excellence—where every effort counts and every learner matters.

Theatre Workshop

A Journey into the World of Theatre

The students of Class IX had the enriching opportunity to participate in a dynamic theatre workshop conducted by Ms. Ananya Arya from Unmasked Studios. The session opened the doors to the fascinating world of stagecraft, introducing participants to essential elements such as body movement, voice modulation, improvisation, and character-building.

Through engaging activities and collaborative exercises, students discovered new ways to express themselves with confidence and creativity. The workshop fostered a spirit of teamwork, self-awareness, and artistic exploration.

The session culminated in a vibrant student-led performance, where participants showcased their imagination, learning, and growth. It was a truly empowering experience that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Inter-House Bhangra Competition

Celebrating Baisakhi with Rhythm and Joy: Inter-House Bhangra Competition (Classes III–V)

In celebration of Baisakhi, the school came alive with colour, energy, and cultural pride during the Inter-House Bhangra Competition for Classes III to V. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students, adorned in bright traditional attire, prepared to dazzle the audience with their spirited performances.

Each House brought the stage to life with powerful dance moves, infectious energy, and seamless coordination. The young performers radiated joy and confidence, showcasing not just their talent but also the essence of teamwork and cultural heritage.

The event was adjudicated by members of the school faculty, who had the delightful challenge of selecting winners from such vibrant performances. The results were as follows:

Ambedkar Jayanti

Honouring the Legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Class XII A conducted a special morning assembly on April 15, 2025,  to honour Ambedkar Jayanti, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar — the visionary behind the Indian Constitution and a steadfast advocate for social equality and justice.

The assembly opened with a soulful morning prayer, setting a reflective tone for the day. This was followed by the thought for the day, and a roundup of important headlines from school events, as well as national and international news.

The highlight of the assembly was a powerful address by a student speaker, who shed light on Dr. Ambedkar’s extraordinary contributions to Indian society. His pivotal role in drafting the Constitution and his tireless efforts to combat social discrimination were brought to the forefront, inspiring students to uphold the ideals of justice and equality in their daily lives.

To further engage the audience, an interactive quiz focusing on Dr. Ambedkar’s life and achievements was organized. The enthusiastic participation of students made the activity both fun and informative, reinforcing key aspects of his remarkable journey.

The Vice Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia, appreciated the efforts of the students and lauded them for presenting a well-curated and thoughtful assembly.

The event concluded with the national anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of admiration for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy.

BDBBPS Hosts Business Summit 2.0 to Mark its 23rd Founder's Day – A Celebration of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Vision

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School commemorated its 23rd Founder's Day with the much-anticipated Business Summit 2.0, an event that brought student-led innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship into the spotlight. This engaging initiative offered a dynamic platform for budding changemakers to tackle real-world challenges through inventive thinking.

Students from Grades IX and X dived deep into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), choosing critical themes such as Clean Water, Climate Action, and Quality Education. They translated these issues into viable business solutions, showcasing prototypes and compelling presentations. Concepts like “Aqua Saver Potato Cleaning” and “Sustainascan” reflected not just creative ingenuity but also a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

The summit scaled new heights with the participation of Grades XI and XII students, who worked in collaborative teams to develop full-fledged business models addressing pressing global problems. From SWOT analyses to 4P marketing strategies, detailed financial forecasts, and diverse ownership frameworks, their presentations exuded both strategic insight and entrepreneurial passion. Standout innovations such as “Eco Smart Air Purifier,” “Legal Ease,” and “Mindmate” exemplified forward-thinking, solution-driven approaches to modern-day issues.

Adding prestige and purpose to the event were distinguished alumni judges—Mr. Sushant Madan, Ms. Sanchita Jain, and Ms. Ananya Kumar—who shared invaluable perspectives and inspired the participants through their expert evaluations and encouraging words.

The summit concluded on a high note with an inspiring address by Vice-Principal Ms. Roopali Kudesia, followed by a celebration honouring the most promising innovations. The event served as a vibrant showcase of youthful potential, thoughtful innovation, and a shared commitment to building a better tomorrow.
