REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School celebrated India’s 74th Republic Day with great éclat. The students took pride in celebrating the spirit of unity on the occasion. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Bodh Raj Sikri, Founder President, and Trustee, Punjabi Biradri Maha Sangathan, Gurugram. Other distinguished guests that graced the occasion included Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Honourable Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Mr. Pankaj Aneja, an esteemed member of the Management and Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director, IT, BBGS. The PrinciMr, Mr. Trilok Singh Bist, extended the formal welcome to the members of the august gathering.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Bodh Raj Sikri hoisted the National Flag and took the salute with the marching contingents of all four Houses that displayed an energetic and flawless March Past. The students saluted the flag and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation.

The entire atmosphere of the school was filled with the colours of saffron, white and green as the students presented a mesmerising patriotic programme. The poem glorifying the Motherland gave goosebumps to everyone present. It was followed by the choir group presentation of a patriotic song. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through a very well-crafted dance, Nukkad Natak and speech. Sprint and relay races were also conducted for the students of Classes IX and XI. A Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised at the end of the event to felicitate the achievers. The Chief Guest addressed the students and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indian.

The school grounds reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm as Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools congratulated everyone and extended her best wishes on the occasion of 74th Republic Day. Ms. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader proposed the Vote of Thanks and encouraged the students to keep up the spirit of patriotism. The students dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their minds and heart. May we continue celebrating this day forever!

COMMERCE CLUB ASSEMBLY

The Commerce Club of Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School presented a Special Assembly which aided in enlightening the students of the Senior Wing about financial services and cleared their doubts related to different topics related to Commerce such as Crypto Currency, Budgeting etc.

 Along with the regular features, the assembly comprised of an informative session on Crypto Currency which enlightened the students about the pros and cons of it. An informative video was shared on the same to make the discussion more meaningful. It was followed by the self-composed poem by a student on Budgeting and a quiz related to existing and upcoming entrepreneurs with new and innovative ideas, was conducted.

 The Commerce Club In-charge, Ms. Ekta Sharma explained to the students, the role of Commerce in our day-to-day lives. Ms. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to gear up for their upcoming exams.

TRIP TO UDAIPUR

EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO UDAIPUR

“The purpose of the journey is its goal, the purpose of an excursion is the process. A process to gather knowledge and explore.”

 A five-day educational tour to Udaipur, the ‘City of Lakes’, was organized by Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School for Classes VI to VIII from January 13 to January 17, 2023. The motive of the tour was to root the students to the rich cultural heritage of the nation along with the opportunity to learn about and see new things in a less structured environment providing exposure to new experiences leading to honing of social skills.  The tour was planned to Udaipur, a city situated in the southern part of Rajasthan and is christened as the “Venice of the East”,   embellished with majestic palaces, interconnected picturesque lakes, beautiful lush green gardens, and historic temples…  which all are truly a feast to the eyes.

The school team began the tour by visiting the exquisite City Palace, located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Pichola. The students were shown the various parts of architectural beauty - Mor Chowk (peacock courtyard), Surya Chopar, Sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Krishna Vilas, and the Zenana Mahal. The students enjoyed learning about the palace and the enormous history it holds. The next day, the students were taken for the Heritage Walk to Chittorgarh. Vijay Stambh, Jauhar Kund, Padmini Palace, and Meera Bai Mandir were the main attractions of the day. The students then visited the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, which hoisted a variety of statues and exhibited items such as handicrafts, coins, block prints, and musical instruments used by the kings and the tribal people of Rajasthan. Students enjoyed a live puppet show and Rajasthani Folk dances there. On the last day at Udaipur, the students visited Fateh Sagar Lake, Chetak Memorial & Sahelion ki Bari. The scholars bought some souvenirs and mementos from the local market as a token of their love and gratitude for their family, and near and dear ones.

The students returned with fuelled energy,  filled with memories and countless knowledge. It was a memorable experience for the school team.

ADIEU SENIORS!-Farewell

In an emotionally charged atmosphere inside the Seminar Hall of Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, the Students of Grade XI, Staff, and Management bid adieu to the students of Grade XII and wished them Good Luck at the Farewell Ceremony on January 14, 2023.

 The students of Grade XI organised a host of activities for their seniors and ensured that each moment of the event would leave an indelible mark for them. Right from the Ramp Walk, Title Ceremony, Group Games, energetic dances, and mementos to melodious songs, the entire event was full of emotions and enthusiasm.

Various titles including Ms. And Mr. Blue Bells, Ms. and Mr. Intellectual, Ms. and Mr. Charismatic, Ms. and Ms. Versatile, and Ms. and Mr. Popular were conferred on the deserving students.

The videos showcasing the journey of the students through their school lives left everyone teary-eyed.

 Honourable Director, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati bestowed her blessings on the outgoing batch and wished them Good Luck. The Principal, Mr. Trilok Singh Bist encouraged the students to keep going and make a mark for themselves in all spheres of their lives. Ms. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader congratulated the students and assured them that they will definitely be visiting their school for their reunions and otherwise as well.

 The Council Members of the outgoing batch expressed their gratitude towards their alma mater through a heart-touching speech.

 Overall, it was an emotional afternoon, that concluded with wishing the best to the students of Grade XII for their Board Exams and after they leave the premises of this institution.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul,

Dream big, for every dream precedes the goal.

 The Investiture Ceremony for the Senior Wing was held on 13 January 2023 at Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in our young prodigies.

 The Student Council for Session 2023-24 successfully inducted the newly selected student leaders. The ceremony started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The newly formed Council–School Ambassador, Head Boy, Head Girl, the Health and Wellness Ambassador, and all other Secretaries were honoured by the respected Principal, Mr. Trilok Singh Bist, along with the members of the Leadership Team. The Council Members for the previous session handed over their sashes to their new counterparts. The badges were pinned by the members of the Leadership Team with pride on the blazers of the student leaders. The School Ambassador administered the Oath to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. The delightful faces of the worthy parents reflected a sense of achievement and joy as their wards made them proud of this tremendous achievement.

 The Principal, Mr. Bist motivated the students and blessed them with his words of wisdom which would help the students to make their vision clear for the achievement of their goal by performing their duties with full dedication. He then congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and emphasised the significance of setting priorities and understanding our responsibilities.

 Ms. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader extended the Vote of Thanks and reminded them that they are the torchbearers of all the values that the School stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity.

The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work. The ceremony concluded with the School Anthem bringing in the feeling of patriotism in each Blue Bellian.

OUTDOOR EXCURSION TO ROCKSPORT

 “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” —John Dewey.

We, at  Brahm Dutt Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, believe that when students are actively engaged in the learning process, their attention, focus, and motivation improve, resulting in meaningful, lifelong enlightened experiences. The outdoor excursions place scholars at the centre of the learning, increasing opportunities for student engagement and contributing to positive student outcomes. A host of activities are undertaken as a part of trips, which act as catalysts to think outside the box and broaden the outlook. The school judiciously plans educational trips to strategically important places to facilitate students' reaching out for information beyond textbooks.

In pursuance of the same vision, the school organised a "Learning Outside the Classroom" outdoor trip for Classes IX & XI and Classes VI to VIII on January 6 & 7, 2023, respectively, to Rocksport, a safe and secure place full of adventure, learning, and fun amidst the rolling green farmlands.

The students were divided into different teams and were provided with several hands-on experiences by Rocksporters, highly qualified professionals, and passionate adventurers. The learners buzzed with enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed the team-building games and adventure sports like Burma Bridge Crossing, Commando Net, Tarzan Swing, Rope Ladders, Archery, Tractor Ride, and DJ, etc.

The sumptuous layout of the delicacies for breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks was relished by all the members of the school team. It was a day filled with adventure that helped the team build a strong connection with each other.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

‘Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.’

The much-awaited festival of Christmas was celebrated with fervour and zeal by the students of Grades II B and V B through Special Assemblies on December 23, 2022.

The excited learners cladded in the hues of red and white presented a fantastic programme to live up the Christmas feel. They enlightened everyone with the significance of Christmas. The little carollers donned their Santa Caps and as they hit the notes of carols, the entire campus echoed with their melodious singing.

The students were filled with joy and exhilaration as Santa came dancing to the tune of Jingle Bells. As a Grand Finale, a mesmerising dance performance was presented by the students which was immensely appreciated. The message of the assembly was loud and clear- ‘Come, let us embrace the spirit of Christmas by bringing joy and happiness into someone’s life’.

Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing wished the students Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and urged them to follow the spirit of compassion, forgiveness and peace.

VISIT TO BIODIVERSITY PARK

Nature is a tool to get children to experience the wider world.’

A visit to BiodiversityPark was organized for the students of Grade I on December 22, 2022. As the students enjoyed the leisurely walk through the park, they observed the different varieties of plants and trees which enhanced their knowledge about flora along with their love for nature.

They were engaged in a lot of collaborative activities and played different games such as ‘Drop the Handkerchief’, ‘Tree and Squirrel Game’ etc. On the whole, it was an enriching trip wherein the students learnt about the value of nature along with developing team-spirit.

CLEANLINESS DRIVE

MAKING THE MOST OF THE FESTIVE CHEER

The students of Classes IX and XI celebrated the joy of Christmas by organising a Cleanliness Drive through which they made their classrooms bright and shiny.

The students brought the basic cleaning tools like dusters, cleaners and scrubbers to make their classes neat and tidy. They enjoyed the process of cleaning and maintaining their own furniture and surroundings.

The Drive also helped in inculcating a sense of belongingness in the students.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION (MIDDLE WING)

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter and, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School as a special assembly was organized by the students of class VI. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots and the essence of Christmas was brought alive when Santa Clause himself came in front of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing candies to them. The delightful celebration included participants coming in red and white colour dress. The day was celebrated with religious gaiety, fervour, and enthusiasm. The celebration included a rhythmic performance from the choir, an amazing dance and an add-on surprise package by Santa Claus.

 The gathering was addressed by the members of the Leadership Team. They congratulated the participants for such a wonderful assembly.
