Orientation Programme for Classes III–V

The Orientation Programme for Classes III–V was held on March 22, 2025, to provide parents with insights into the academic journey planned for the year ahead. The session featured a detailed presentation covering school achievements, curriculum, rules and regulations, assessment parameters, the Learning & Development Centre—The Learning Space, the Health and Wellness Programme, and the IT curriculum.

To strengthened the parent-school partnership through an engaging session conducted by the Health & Wellness Team under the visionary mentorship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS. Parents explored key initiatives of the Health and Wellness Programme and participated in an experiential session on emotional awareness, highlighting the impact of mindful parenting on a child’s well-being. 

To extend this learning, parents received a handout, "Happy Hearts: Understanding Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviours," as a practical guide to nurturing emotional intelligence. The session concluded with an excerpt from Ma’am’s blog, "World of Emotions," inspiring parents to prioritize emotional literacy in their child’s development.? 

A thematic presentation on ‘Governing Ourselves’ offered a glimpse into the school’s engaging transdisciplinary approach. Parents were introduced to the Metaverse 360 VR Program, which was set up to provide them with an experiential learning experience and to apprise them of how this program will be implemented for students of Classes III-V in the upcoming session. A stall by Vigyantram was also set up to give an idea of the possibilities in the Robotics Programme being offered by the school to students.

Under the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Programme of the school, a book fair was organised to give the little reading enthusiasts an opportunity to pick their favourite reads. The School Leadership Team addressed all parent queries with clarity, making the programme both informative and well-received.

WELCOME ASSEMBLY FOR GRADE XI

The new academic session commenced on an inspiring note with a dynamic and uplifting assembly organized by the students of Class XII C on the theme ‘New Vistas,’ extending a heartfelt welcome to the incoming Grade XI students.

The assembly opened with a soulful prayer and the pledge, fostering a spirit of focus and unity. Thought-provoking speeches in Hindi and English highlighted the significance of embracing fresh opportunities with confidence and enthusiasm, leaving the audience motivated for the journey ahead.

A stimulating General Knowledge Quiz infused excitement and engagement, encouraging active participation and a healthy competitive spirit among students.

The Principal, Dr. Trilok Singh Bist, welcomed the students with his encouraging words, inspiring them to strive for excellence in all their pursuits. Ms. Roopali Kudesia, Vice Principal, extended her warm wishes and provided valuable insights into the subjects and Class Teachers, ensuring a smooth transition for the new entrants.

The ‘New Vistas’ assembly set a vibrant and positive tone for the academic year, igniting a sense of purpose, ambition, and optimism among students and staff alike. It was a powerful reminder that each new day brings with it limitless possibilities, fresh aspirations, and the promise of success.

FIRST ASSEMBLY 2025-26

Embracing New Beginnings: An Inspiring Start to the Academic Year

The first day of the new academic session unfolded with energy and enthusiasm as Class XII D led a dynamic morning assembly. The session commenced with the customary opening elements, followed by a heartfelt welcome address by the Vice Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia. A soulful devotional song by the students infused the gathering with inspiration and positivity.

A special assembly highlight was an insightful address by alumna Sanjeeta, who shared invaluable strategies for adequate board exam preparation. Emphasizing the power of consistency, time management, and mental well-being, she motivated students to approach their academic journey with confidence and resilience.

Adding to the spirit of encouragement, the Middle Wing Leader, Ms. Madhu Talwar, inspired students to embrace the year ahead with determination, set meaningful goals, and cultivate a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

The assembly concluded on a note of motivation and unity, instilling a sense of purpose and optimism in every student, and paving the way for a fulfilling and successful academic year.

Orientation Day Class-X & XII

            Partnering For Progress:  Orientation Day at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School organized an engaging and insightful Orientation Day for parents of students transitioning to Grades X and XII on March 08, 2025. The session aimed to equip parents with a clear understanding of the academic framework, including the core and skill-based subjects available at these levels. The school also elaborated on the evaluation process, highlighting its role in shaping students’ academic progress and future pathways. Furthermore, the importance of adhering to the school's code of conduct was emphasized, reinforcing values of discipline and accountability.

A notable event segment was an interactive session titled ‘Mind Matters: Encourage Positive Thinking’, led by Ms. Chetna Vashisht, Associate Psychologist from My Peegu, under the aegis of the Health & Wellness Programme.  The session aimed to empower parents with strategies to foster self-esteem, emotional well-being, and long-term success in children. The session provided parents with strategies to support their children’s emotional well-being and resilience, promoting a deeper connection between academic success and mental health.

By integrating academic guidance with a focus on emotional development, the Orientation Day empowered parents to support their children holistically, ensuring a balanced and enriching learning experience during these pivotal years.

Womens Day Celebration

Womens Day Celebration at BDBBPS: A Tribute to Courage and Excellence

The Womens Day celebration at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School on March 8, 2025, was a vibrant and inspiring event dedicated to recognizing the remarkable contributions of women in all walks of life. The occasion served as a platform to honour their achievements, resilience, and relentless spirit while reinforcing the importance of gender equality and empowerment.

The celebration featured a series of engaging activities that showcased the creativity and talents of students. Cultural performances, poetry recitations, and soul-stirring song presentations highlighted the essence of womanhood, resilience, and progress. The celebration was a true reflection of respect and appreciation for women in every sphere of life.

Trip to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya

Students of Classes III – V visited the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya on March 11, 2025, to gain insights into the lives and contributions of India’s Prime Ministers and their role in shaping modern India.

 Students explored interactive galleries featuring rare photographs, documents, and personal belongings of the Prime Ministers. They were particularly fascinated by the technologically advanced displays, including holograms, audio-visual booths, and touchscreen panels. The museum also highlighted the evolution of India’s Constitution, economic reforms, and developmental milestones.

 Students felt inspired, proud, and deeply engaged throughout the visit. The trip not only enhanced their knowledge of Indian history and governance but also sparked curiosity and critical thinking about leadership and responsibility.

Learning Unbound Chapter 2024-25

Learning becomes profound when it is visible, and transformational when it is shared.

This ideology, deeply embedded in the vision of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, was brought to life through the Academic Fest - Learning Unbound, Edition IX Chapter 2024-2025, on March 01, 2025.

The event was spearheaded and conceptualised by the In-house Learning and Development Centre ‘The Learning Space’ under the motivational leadership of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development and Innovation), Blue Bells Group of Schools. The purpose of the event was to share the pedagogical practices with parents and make them aware how these practices pave the path towards the development of 21^st century skills and subject specific skills. The student-centric age-appropriate of our school ensures holistic development of the child and instils concepts and make the students life-long learners. The thematic transdisciplinary approach and its seamless progression across grades were showcased through creatively designed display boards.

This year’s theme, ‘Governing Ourselves: Journey of Learning from Curiosity to Discovery’ was thoughtfully integrated into different subjects like languages, Math and EVS, encouraging students to engage with the concepts of self-governance, responsibility, and leadership. The theme extended to IT, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Physical Education, making learning more meaningful. From interactive exhibits to hands-on experiences, every aspect of the event was designed to spark curiosity and inspire discovery.

A key highlight was the Governance Wheel, symbolizing the core principles of leadership, responsibility, and decision-making. The Transdisciplinary approach, showcasing the learning progression of students, came to life through an array of subject based models, projects, and activities. Their 21st-century skills were evident in the way they collaborated, analyzed ideas, and presented them with clarity and confidence.

Parents showered appreciation for the concept of the event and the entire display. Hands-on experiments, art and craft, live sculpture counter, integrated fun sports activities, Yoga Display and the cultural events comprising of a Street Play, Live Singing by the choir, and thematic dances were well connected to the theme.

The Health &Wellness team under the inspirational guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools created an expressive corner Elixir: ‘Find Your Essence’. The corner added enthusiasm to the event ‘Learning Unbound Edition IX Chapter 2024-25, by imparting a thoughtful mindset and a new outlook to parents.

An overview of the Health & Wellness Programme was showcased through aesthetically designed display boards which gave a kaleidoscopic glimpse of various activities and events for students, parents and teachers under the programme. Primary Wing students apprised the parents about the Health & Wellness Programme, ADEPT- A Programme for Enhancing Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in, and interesting characters and mascots of the School Cinema Movies which help to imbibe a healthy value system in the students.

Inspirational and thought-provoking movies by School Cinema were projected as part of the Value Education programme. Students welcomed the parents and engaged them in interesting and intriguing energizers, mind jogs and activities like ‘Spot the Difference’, ‘Brain Gym’ and ‘Unlocking Creativity: The Pandora Possibilities’ related to the movies. The movies helped the parents to understand that it is extremely important to acknowledge different values, life skills and emotions to have a holistic approach towards life. The parents experienced hands on activities with full zeal and vigour and appreciated the students’ performance. These activities reflected in- house teaching methodologies which make learning fun-filled and impactful.

The display left an indelible impact on the parents, and they lauded the efforts of the team.

The young tech innovators showcased their expertise in the ICT-enabled games, VR and Robotics Arena under the leadership of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director –IT, BBGS. The exhibits highlighted their technological expertise, engaging visitors with hands-on experiences in coding, automation, and digital learning. The student-led food corner ‘Foodie Fiesta’ was a delightful addition to the fest wherein little chefs showcased the culinary creativity, organization skills and teamwork. The sale proceeds would be utilised for social causes, as a part of the Community Outreach programme of the school.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion and blessed them. The members of the management inspired the students to perform to the best of their ability. A truly enriching experience, the fest left visitors amazed by the depth of learning and innovation.

An educational trip to Amrit Udyan, New Delhi, was organized for the students of Class II on March 5, 2025.  The young learners were enthralled by the garden’s breathtaking beauty and the vibrant hues of nature. Their curiosity sparked lively discussions as they eagerly identified different plants and exchanged their discoveries with their peers.

The students explored the garden’s rich history and learned fascinating facts about its seasonal blossoms. The visit was more than just an excursion—it was a sojourn that deepened their appreciation for nature, making learning both joyful and everlasting.

Trip to the National Rail Museum (UKG)

Exploring the World of Railways: A Fun-Filled Learning Experience

The young learners of Class UKG embarked on an exciting educational trip to the National Rail Museum on March 04, 2025, immersing themselves in the fascinating world of trains.

With eager curiosity, the students explored the museum, marvelling at the grand life-sized models of historic steam engines. The highlight of their visit was the thrilling Toy Train ride, which took them on a journey around the museum, offering a closer look at the vintage locomotives on display.

The day was a perfect blend of exploration, joy, and hands-on learning, leaving the students with happy hearts and unforgettable memories.

Experiential learning extends beyond the classroom, allowing students to connect knowledge with real-world marvels.

On March 4, 2025, students of Grade I embarked on an enriching visit to India Gate and Children's Park, designed to deepen their understanding of history engagingly.

The young learners were captivated by the towering 42-metre sandstone and granite monument, admiring its grandeur while discovering its historical significance. Exploring the site, they reflected on its importance and legacy. The adventure continued at Children's Park, where they enjoyed playful moments on swings and bonded over healthy snacks with friends.

The trip was a delightful blend of discovery, joy, and hands-on learning, making it a memorable experience for all.
