A moment of immense pride and celebration!
Vedika of Class V and Roshika Thakur of Class IV secured the Second Prize at
the event ‘Transform: Young Innovators Showcase’, part of the Inter-school
STEAM Expo 2026 hosted by The DLF School Ridge Valley.
Addressing the pressing global challenge
of waste mismanagement, they presented a brilliant, future-ready solution in
the form of an AI-integrated smart dustbin capable of detecting and segregating
wet and dry waste. This thoughtful invention reflected a powerful blend of
environmental awareness and technological application, turning a simple daily
activity into a meaningful step toward sustainability.
