Performance at Eco Champ Science Exhibition
The students of the Senior Wing made their alma mater proud as they
bagged Third Position in Science Exhibition at the Inter-school Event Oorja
hosted by DPSG Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. The competition focussed on understanding
and appreciation for ‘Sustainability and Renewable Resources’. Vaibhav Behl
[9C], Arnav Chaturvedi [9C], Shubham Bhattacharya [9C], and Vidhan Sachdeva
[11A] represented their project under SDG 9- Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
They built the model on the principle of ‘Tesla Power’ which can be used
as a wireless transmitter for a free renewable sustainable energy. They
prepared it under proper guidance and materials from ATL Lab. The working model
was made to illuminate a few LED’s. The model represented that if this Tesla
tower is set at the height of 100 feet, then this can produce amount of energy
which is sufficient to run an airplane that is 2000 feet above the earth or can
run a boat/ ship which is 300 km away.
