NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

Keeping up with the spirit of above lines to help children grow as aware, empowered individuals of the Society, the school provides them a platform to perform and hone their latent potential , the students of the school participated in the National Level Science Olympiad for which the results were announced in May 2016.  The students of the school not only participated with zest and zeal but proved their mettle.
The school bagged Twelve Gold, Ten Silver and Ten Bronze medals for their remarkable performance . Dhruv Punia (VI) and Tanmay Goyal (IX) were the Gold Medalists with State Excellence Award.
 The Management, Director & Principal  of the school congratulated the school team for this  achievement.

Success provides happiness when it is affirmed not only by ones own self but by others. To felicitate the academic achievers of the Session 2015-16, Annual Award Ceremony was organized for the students of Nursery to IX and Class XI on  April 30,  2016.
The programme began with ceremonial Diya Lighting by the  Principal and parents of the school . The students of the school presented a well synchronized cultural programme where they showcased the rich kaleidoscopic view of Indian Culture in the form of religious prayers and hymns and also presenting folk dances of India. The Academic Achievers of the school were felicitated by the Principal and Wing In charges of the school. 
Dr. Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,  conveyed her blessings and congratulated all the students for accomplishing their targets.

INTER SCHOOL PAINTING COMPETITION

“ Art imitates life and the unspoken language of colours can create an astounding effect.”
To recreate the magic splash of colours that can paint the canvas of life with vibrant forms, the students of the school participated in an Inter School Painting Competition at American Public School on  April 22,  2016,  to mark the Earth Day Celebration. The students used their vivid imagination and created magnificent images to show their concern on issues related to conservation of resources on earth like Less Pollution Is The Best Solution, May The Forest Be With You and Stop the drip to save the drop. Vinayaka Garg of Class X A bagged the First Position in the Jute Bag Painting Competition. The level of the competition was high as many students from renowned schools of Gurgaon competed in the Competition. The Management, Director and Principal extended their heartfelt felicitations to Vinayaka and Art Faculty for this remarkable success.

FRENCH OLYMPIAD

“People who search for meaning in life are those who have formed their thoughts and actions around a purpose that makes their life worth.”
We at Blue Bells believe in providing education that will prepare the child for the competitive world outside. To provide a platform to hone the language skills , the students participated in the  French Olympiad . The school and Prayatna Educational Society in collabration with Alliance Francaise de Rouen organised A National Exam of French to showcase their knowledge of French Language.
In A1 Level, the First Position is bagged by . Sehajpreet Kaur(VII B) ,  Second Position was clinched by  Kritika Bassi     (VII A)  and . Priyanshi Yadav ( VII A) got the Third Position. In A2 level, the First, Second and Third Position was clinched by . Honey  Yadav( VIII B) , . Prapti  ( VIII A) and  Prashansa Jain(VIII B) respectively.
The Management, Director & Principal of the school extended their heartiest congratulations to the students for this marvelous success.

AN INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION AT K R MANGALAM WORLD SCHOOL

“The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best------“.

 To allow varied principles and ideologies to blossom, the school provides an environment where creativity is nurtured and nourished. The students of the Pre Primary Wing of the school participated in various events in an Inter School Competition hosted by K R Mangalam World School on February 12, 2016.    Ghazal Verma ( UKG ) clinched a GOLD Medal in  Kangaroo Jump and Saanvi ( Nursery  ) bagged a  Bronze Medal in  Flower Race. It was a proud moment for the school as the pedagogy of the school which is firmly rooted to develop  all round personality of the students was exemplified by the young toddlers.

The Management, Director and the Principal of the school applauded the students for their remarkable feat.

INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD 2016

Legends make the pursuit of knowledge a priority.
They study important questions of life
And compile a reservoir of knowledge for success.

Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility. Blue Bellians personified this quote when they participated in the International Informatics Olympiad 2016. The students prepared well for the competition and proved their mettle by clinching the topmost positions at Level I and Level II of the International level competition .Level I of the competition was organized on November 4, 2016 in which 183 students participated. The school bagged 12-Gold, 12- Silver and 12 Bronze Medals and a Special Prize was clinched by Chandrachur Sinha for securing Olympiad Rank 13.  

In the II Level conducted on February 8, 2016, 19 students participated and secured state ranks between 1 to 15 and Olympiad Rank between 10 to 20. International Informatics Olympiad gave recognition to the top scorers of the school - Varun Mohan (XII B)   & Goohika Joshi (III B) for securing State Rank 1 and Varun Yadav (XII B) for securing State Rank III and awarded them with Special Prizes for their remarkable performance.

The Management, Director, Assistant Director –IT and Principal of the school extended their felicitations to the students and Computer faculty for the astounding achievement.

IRC NATIONAL COMPETITION

IRC NATIONAL COMPETITION
“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children one of these is roots, the other, wings.”
In the 21st century educational scenario there has been a ‘paradigm shift’ in the concept of imparting knowledge as well as teaching-learning process. Today the concept of teaching is not only to make the child competent in theoretical subjects but also give an insight to concretize their dreams into grandeur. Blue Bellians perceive   goal, accept challenges and preserve to transform their dreams into the floor of realism. Keeping in mind the fact that the quest and zeal for learning of an individual should never cease, young minds must be imbued with the flame of broadening their scope of enlightening themselves. 
Adding one more feather to our cap of glory and accomplishments, the students of the Robotics Club clinched their place in the International version of the competition. The students in the Senior Category bagged the Second and Fourth position in the National Level Competition at The Sri Ram School on December 19, 2015.
The Management , Director , Assistant Director (IT) and Principal of the school extended their heartfelt felicitations to the school Robotics team and teacher incharge for bringing laurels for the alma mater.

NATIONAL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

In the words of Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam , “ The Education System has to be based on Capacity Building comprising five components, research and enquiry, capacity to use high end technology, entrepreneurship and moral leadership.”
Research based learning is the need of this hour so that the students of today indulge in innovative practices by enhancing their creative and critical thinking skills. In an attempt to implement innovation in learning, the prime focus of the school is on  polishing and refining the scientific  skills of the students.  In order to hone the same the students participated in National Science Olympiad and brought laurels by bagging the topmost positions . The result for the same was declared on December 19, 2015 and the list  of toppers is as under:-

INTERNATIONAL YOUNG FILM MAKERS FESTIVAL

“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul; Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.”

Adolescence is a transient phase in the life of every youngster, a period of trial and tribulation, often marked by stress and strain.  After being launched, the Health & Wellness Club of the school has played a pioneering role in catering to such issues concerning adolescence spearheaded by Dr Alka Saxena, Assistant Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS. As a part of implementing this module, the students of the school participated in the International Young  Film Makers’ Festival (IYFMF) in October 2015 .  The students prepared a Film on the Adolescents issue of Life Style disease – Diabetes  and its impact on the young adolescents. It was showcased in front of an expert panel of jury comprising of Dr. Jitender Nagpal , Program Director, Expressions India and other renowned people from the world of Television and Documentary Film Making on December 17, 2015 . The judges for the Competition were Ms. Kalpana Palhkiwala, Ms. Shama Sanghvi and Ms. Seema Shukla. The presentation was appreciated by the judges and the school won the Special Appreciation Award for the same.
After the screening of 3-4 films, there was a discussion and all our students participated enthusiastically. The theme of the discussion was centered on child rights, senior citizen, POCSO, impact of media, diversity and substance abuse. The discussion was open to students, counselors and teachers. Our students and counselor actively participated in these discussions and their points of views were deeply appreciated.
The efforts of the school team were applauded by the Management  , Director, Assistant Director ( Health & Wellness) and Principal  of the School . A special felicitation was extended to Ms. Shreya Kumar, Counsellor, who has played a pivotal role in guiding the students for making the Documentary film. The student team comprised of  Naman Malhotra (IX C – Camera work and video editing),  Pratiman( IX A- Camera work), . Adya Varshney (X C – Story, video editing and acting) ,  Siddharth Shandilya ( X B – Story and acting) ,  Prince Kaushik( X D – Actor),  Linima Phalswal (X D – Actor),  Chinmayee Pathak( X D – Actor) , Sanjeeta Kumar( IX B – Actor) and  Sudhanshu Chand ( X A – Actor).
