The  Under 14 Girls  Volley Ball Team of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram, carried forward the legacy of winning and clinched the coveted Second  Position in Khel Mahakumbh , Open District Level Volleyball Tournament on September 30, 2017 . The Girls Team defeated the team from Bal Bharti , Manesar in the Final match  convincingly and proved its excellence on the court.

The Girls team bagged the cash prize of Rs. 12000 /- as the Wining amount .

The Girls Team defeated the team from Bal Bharti , Manesar in the Final match  convincingly and proved its excellence on the court.

The team  received the Winning cash prize of Rs, 18000 /-.

KHEL MAHAKUMBH SWIMMING TOURNAMENT , OPEN DISTRICT LEVEL COMPETITION

Prateek Kataria, an ace swimmer from Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram proved his excellence in Khel Mahakumbh Swimming Tournament, an Open District Level Competition on September 28, 2017 . In the Under 17 Category, Prateek clinched Gold in 100m Backstroke, Silver in 50m Backstroke and bagged Gold Medal in 4*100m Free Style Relay and Medaly Relay  respectively for Gurgaon.

Adding to this glory was the achievement of budding swimmer Yogesh Kataria who in the Under 17 Category  bagged Gold in 50m Breast and Silver in 100m Breast. In 4*100m Free Style Relay and Medaly Relay , Yogesh clinched Gold Medal respectively for Gurgaon .

 Prateek Kataria and Yogesh Kataria have won cash prize of Rs. 7500/- each for their winning performances   .

WORLD SCHOOL DEBATING CHAMPIONSHIP REGIONAL ROUND

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.” Interactive and representational deliberation plays a major role in moulding an adolescent’s logical thinking and reasoning. In sync with the same , the school Debating Team comprising of Shubha Gupta , Sayantika Biswas and Sanjeeta Kumar not only competed  but also  proved their mettle in the Regional Round of World School Debating Championship at Pathways World School, Gurugram on September 22 and 23, 2017 .

The School team was adjudged the Winners of the Third Round which was an extempore Debate Round and the topic given was “ The House Supports the Performance Pay to the Teachers.’ Adding a feather to the cap of this accomplishment was the selection of Shubha Gupta as one of the Best Twelve Speakers of the Competition . Shubha would be now trained by the WSDC Team for the Nationals in November and December 2017 .

AT HARYANA SCHOOL STATE SPEED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

We at Blue Bells recognize the need and importance of games and sports activities for the all round personality development of a student. “SPORTS IS A WAY OF LIFE” is our aim.  A variety of games and sports facilities based on the need and interest of the students are provided for their holistic development.  In sync with this, the students of the school participate in various CBSE Sports Cluster Competitions . The Skating team of the school prepared rigourously and participated with utmost zeal in the Haryana School State Speed Skating Championship  at  Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Rohtak  on September 19 & 20, 2017.

Ragini from the school bagged the  Silver Medal in TT 300mts and Bronze Medal in 1000 mts race and qualified for the Nationals to be held at Belgaun, Karnataka from December 9 to 13, 2017.

“SEEDLING FEST ” – AN INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION AT BAL BHARATI PUBLIC SCHOOL, DWARKA

In the educational mindscape of the 21^st century, learning needs to be interwoven with  the development of innate potential hibernating in an individual to discover his / her UNIQUE self . In sync with the same ,  to celebrate the myriad  colours of childhood,  the school participated in Seedling Fest - an Inter School Event   organized for students of Pre Primary and Class I at  Bal Bharati Public School , Dwarka on September  15, 2017.

The young Blue Bellians from the Pre-Primary Wing enthralled the audience with their rhythmic movement on the beats by clinching the Second Position in the Western Dance Competition. To complement the accomplishment of the  juniors, Class I students created a jingle  on the Theme –“ In The Pink of Health “ and bagged the Third Position among the prestigious schools of Delhi & NCR.

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram has been accredited with the International School Award by The British Council  . The award is conferred on the school for nurturing Global Citizenship and enriching the teaching and learning through research based projects via international collaboration  .  The portfolio submitted by the school has been APPROVED and the school has been successfully awarded with the British Council International School Award for the period 2017-2020.

The school initiated this invigorating sojourn under the guidance of Ms. Anhsuka Aneja , Deputy Director ( IT), BBGS in February 2016. Under the ISA project, which was spearheaded by Ms. Arpita Acharya as the ISA Co-ordinator, the school collaborated with partner schools from different countries like Japan , Ghana , Guinea and Sri Lanka. It was a wonderful learning experience as the students could mutually exchange knowledge and views on different global issues using Skype sessions, British Council Connecting Classroom’s Project Spaces, designing websites, e-mails, blogs etc.

To acquaint the learners of today, who are inquisitive and continuously strive to learn new skills, project based learning strategy was adopted. This encouraged collaborative work which further honed their higher order thinking skills.

INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION “PARICHAY” HELD AT  THE MAURYA SCHOOL

It was a spectacular day for Blue Bells when the students of the Primary Wing won the Champions Rolling Trophy at an Inter School Competition ‘Parichay” held at the Maurya School, Palam Vihar on September 02, 2017.  Fifteen  schools from Gurgaon participated in the event. Sanya Sharma, Advika Anand, Maurya Ahuja, Shaurya Kaushik, Yashvardhan Singh, Vansh Sehrawat and Yug Virmani (Class II ) bagged the Winners Trophy in the Dance competition.  They danced with grace and poise using various props. The enthusiastic dancers were praised for their synchronized dance steps and choreography. Students also displayed their oratory might through their Radio Jockeying and Debating skills. Nidhi Chauhan and Nishtha Makkar (Class I) bagged Third Prize in the Radio Jockey Competition. Prabhsees Kaur and Moksha Prashar (Class IV) bagged Third Prize in the Debate.  Principal Ms Anjali Nagpal congratulated the teams and applauded their efforts.

MI – ME – AN INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION ON MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE

The Pre-Primary Wing students of the school proved their mettle in ‘MI-ME’, an Inter School Multiple Intelligence Competition on September 1, 2017 at Suncity World School . The school team  competed in various competitions to mark the multiple intelligence theory which says  that an  individual possesses a unique blend of eight  intelligences and should not be judged on one modality of learning.   It was a proud moment when the tiny toddlers faced the competition for the first time and displayed the inherent talent hibernating in them . Mohd. Arham Khan of Class Nursery stood First in Creepy Crawlers  and Unnati Sharma of Class UKG bagged Third prize in Robbo-Ignitors Event.
