The Junior Robotics Team of the school comprising of Nikunj Kalia, Aryan Kalia, Chirag Singh and Aakash bagged the First Position and Gold Medal in IRC Qualifying Competition at Springdales School, Pusa Road, New Delhi on October 28, 2017. The event saw the participation of renowned Seventy Two schools of Delhi and NCR. SELECTION OF ATL PROJECT –SMART MOBILITY FOR ATL SUMMIT

ATL Marathon was organised on 27th October 2017 at ATL of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School. In this Marathon students of class VI to IX presented their prototypes to solve various community problems under theme "Swachh Bharat, Agri-Tech, Smart Mobility, Clean Energy And Waste Management". The  project sent by the school ATL Team comprising of Gangesh , Shikhar Srivastav, Dhruv Arora and Karandeep Singh ,  for ATL Marathon has been selected by Niti Ayog under the category "SMART MOBILITY". The results for the same were announced today at ATL FaceBook Page on December 1, 2017.

The project showcases the solution to  the most common problem of Red Light Jumping of the vehicles. The students designed a prototype in which the center of the cross-road is movable and would adjust according to the Green Light . Hence, there would be no jumping of traffic during the Red Light . This would allow the vehicles to move only in the Green Light .  

The students will present the project at first-ever Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) Tinkering Summit to be held on December 16, 2017 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.

CROWNING GLORY BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, SECTOR 10, GURURGAM AT IUMUN 2017 AT DPS, SECTOR 45, GURUGRAM

“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children one of these is roots, the other, wings.” In the 21st century educational scenario there has been a ‘paradigm shift’ in the concept of imparting knowledge as well as teaching-learning process. Today the concept of teaching is not only to make the child competent in theoretical subjects but also give an insight to concretize their dreams into grandeur. The students of the school participated in International Utopia Mun at DPS, Sector 45, Gurugram from October 26-28, 2017. Linima Phalswal, Head girl of the school clinched the Highest Recommendation Award and Shubha Gupta, Literary Secretary of the school bagged the award for Best Position Papers in the IUMUN where more than 500 delegates from all over India presented their papers and the level of competition was really high. IUMUN'17 is the perfect platform for the young leaders to come together and solve conflicts that plague the International Community. It provided an opportunity to showcase one’s creativity, critical thinking-skills and abilities to analyse problems and solve intricate dilemmas. IGNITE & AXIOM 2017 – SCIENCE FEST AT DPS. DWARKA

“Perfect as the wing of a bird may be, it will never enable the bird to fly if unsupported by the air. Facts are the air of science and with this the man rises above his thinking…” Science is simple and profound as it is the manifestation of pervading consciousness in man. To hone the scientific temper among the students , the school organzises as well as participates in various competitions which give an opportunity to the students to apply their theoretical concepts of Science in practical manner . In sybc with the same mission , the students participated in Ignite & Axiom 2017 – Science Fest at DPS, Dwarka, New Delhi on October 26, 2017 . The students – Shivansh ( X B) and Dhruv Punia ( VIII B) made the alma mater proud by clinching Third Position in Interstellar , a Remote Controlled Rover was made by them to cover an obstacle. The Management, Director and Principal of the school extended their felicitations to Science Faculty and the students for the noteworthy performance

13TH INTER SCHOOL AMITY SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2017

The winning streak of the Skating Team of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram continued as the team registered their benchmark of excellence in the 13th Inter School Amity Skating Championship 2017 by clinching the "Runner Up Trophy" of the Tournament. The marvellous performance of the Skaters was heartily appreciated and five students - Aayush Bhatt ( Nursery) , Shivranjini, Siddhant (III D), Aahana Tiwari (II C) and Ragini Piplani ( X C) were declared as BEST SKATERS of the Tournament . The students creatively crafted the thought , ignited it with their imagination on a flight of fancy and created an aesthetic act with their intense desire and resolute focus to accomplish the optimum. “ Champions are made of something they have deep inside them , A Desire, A Dream and A Vision…” Excellence is a habit for the school Volleyball Team as victory is their motto, whatever they dream and desire , they achieve .The Winning streak of the Under 19 Girls Team of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram , continued in the CBSE Cluster where they showcased their stupendous skill and command by clinching the Third Position in the Cluster at Indian Modern Senior Secondary School in Panipat from October 6 to 8, 2017. Swarnima of Class VIII was declared as the BEST DEFENDER of the tournament. Heartiest Congratulations to the team and the coach for this marvellous feat!

MyGov -POETRY WRITING COMPETITION ON ‘MY VIEWS ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION’

National Trust, the statutory body of Ministry of Social Justice& Empowerment, Government of India works actively for the welfare of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities. An awareness campaign ‘Inclusive India Initiative’ was launched by National Trust in June 2017 with an objective to bring inclusion in the education, employment and community life of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PwIDDs) and facilitate inclusion. To further spread awareness on the Inclusive India Initiative and to engage with one and all, National Trust had four competitions live on My Gov platform in June 2017. Shubha Gupta , Literary Secretary of the school , was declared as the Winner of the competition by the Selection Committee of National Trust and she was awarded Second Position for her Poem On ‘My Views On Inclusive Education’ on October 5, 2017 . Shubha has not bagged the coveted Certificate from the Ministry but also will get a cash prize which would be credited to her Bank Account . MTNL PERFECT HEALTH MELA, NATIONAL HARMONY & ECO SCHOOL FESTIVAL

The students of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School registered stupendous success as they proved their excellence in all the events they competed in the MTNL Perfect Health Mela, National Harmony & Eco School Festival at Talkatora Indoor Stadium New Delhi from October 4 to 6, 2017. This is the Silver Jubilee Celebration Year of the PHM which is one of the most visited community health event covering all aspects of health. The students under the aegis of the Health & Wellness Programme mentored by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director ( Health & Wellness), BBGS participated in various events that provided a platform to hone their innate potential and exhibit their exceptional talent . Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, inaugurated the grand festival of health which witnessed the participation of 46 schools from Delhi & NCR. The students performed exceedingly well and brought laurels for the alma mater. YOGEMS NCR OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Tennis requires agility and quickness to get to the ball, Core strength and stamina to last for the match , in addition toning your arms and muscles , it is a game that requires mental agility and physical stamina working in tandem for an overwhelming result . Khushi Goyal , an ace Lawn Tennis player of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School , Sector 10, Gurugram proved her command over the game and clinched Runners Up Position in Under 12 & Under 16 in YoGems NCR Open Tennis Championship on October 1,2017.
