Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, SECTOR 10, GURUGRAM CELERBATED ODYSSEY OF LITERATURE WITH LITE SUBDUNAIRE 2018, INTER SCHOOL LITERARY FEST

Enhancing the diverse thinking among students and helping them hone their creative spirit and imagination Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School,  Sector10 , Gurugram celebrated its yearly Mega Event , ‘Lite’  Subdunaire’ , the Literary Fest with great pomp and show on May 10  and 11, 2018  in the school campus. All the reputed schools of Gurugram participated in the competition to showcase their talent and flair for literature. The main events were-Story Enactment, Quiz, Debate and Dramatic Monologues for the students of Classes III to XII.

The Opening Ceremony of the Event  on May 10, 2018 was  adorned by the illustrious presence of Ms Meera Balachandran ,Director , Education Quality Foundation of India and a proud recipient of the President's National Award for Teachers in the year 2000 , who very kindly consented to grace the occasion as a Chief Guest . Ma’am was over-whelmed to see the efforts and performance of the students. In her inspiring address, she urged the teachers to inculcate sportsman spirit in the participants and make attempts to nurture ‘Happy Generation’. Ms. Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development & Innovations), BBGS  graced the occasion and blessed everyone with her radiant presence. Ms. Arpita Acharya , Vice Principal of the school accorded a Formal Welcome to the distinguished gathering.

The budding Blue Bellians enliven the Characters from ‘Panchtantra’ with such an audacity that Judges really faced tough time to find best of the bests in Story Enactment for Classes III to V .While the students were engrossed in different events, the students of Classes VI & VII from fourteen renowned school appeared for the E-Wiz (Quiz ) Written Round and top six teams were selected for the Finals wherein  it was a tie break to decide the Second Runners Up position. It was a proud moment for the teachers to see the way the students of Classes VIII to X expressed their concern on ‘Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied, the topic given for the Debate Competition. The Shakespearean characters raised the bar further. The audience could not decide till the end whether those immortal characters got their due or justice was denied to them in ‘Unheard Story: Unmasking the Mask’ , Theatre Event for Classes XI & XII .In order to bring ‘comic relief’,“STAND UP comedy ‘was a welcome add on. The students once again reiterated that there is no limit for creativity and innovation.

The Closing Ceremony of the event on May 11, 2018 was embellished with the gracious presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, esteemed Director, BBGS. Ma’am gave away the Prizes to all the worthy achievers. The Overall Winners Trophy was lifted by Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram for their outstanding performance in all the events.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Madam congratulated the school team for the organizing the event and marvellous performance and presentation. Ma’am further wished everyone luck for the future ventures.

The twodays Mega Event was thoroughly enjoyed by the participating schools as it helped children enter the world of literary characters and thereby add a literary flavour through the different artistic presentation.

Marvellous Performance by the Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School's Debate Team in  World Scholar's Cup Regional Round at Suncity World School on April 28 & 29 2018.

Kartikey Gulia, the Head Boy of the school clinched Gold in Debate, Champions Scholar , School Scholar and Silver  in Collaborative Writing. Adding feathers to this achievement, Anamika of Class XII A bagged Silver in Debate , Collaborative Writing and Champions Scholar.

The level of the competition was  really high as renowned schools  from all over India competed in this  two days event where the theme  given was " The Entangled World ".

Space Module

HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS TO THE Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School ATL TEAM!

With immense pleasure, we, at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, share the praiseworthy performance of the school’s ATL Team at an interactive session organized by NITI Aayog to launch a Space Module on April 27, 2018 . Ms. Seema Yadav , ATL Incharge and Dhruv Punia of Class IX C shared their experience and knowledge gained through ATL Projects  amidst the elite crowd of intellectuals from NITI Aayog including the CEO and Vice Chairman. Ms. Ayesha Chaudhary , ATL Research Head praised the efforts of the School’s ATL Team .

Mr. R. Ramanam, Director Mission and Mr. Amitabh Kant,  CEO of Niti Aayog   addressed  all the ATL  school teachers and students about innovation and tinkering .  Dr. Danielle Wood was the Chief Guest for the session. She  is the Professor at MIT, USA. She launched a Space Module for the ATL students to help them about the Space Engineering and  Satellite Navigation, Satellite Communication and Earth observations.

It was a unique learning endeavour for the students and we ardently thank our ever encouraging Management  for providing an opportunity to the young inventors to hone their tech skills .

STUPENDOUS PERFORMANCE BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, SECTOR 10 , GURUGRAM 

The multitalented students of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram clinched the Second Position in   the Short Play Competition on Conservation of Resources. The school team also bagged the coveted   Overall Second  Position in an   Inter School Competition – ‘DHARA SANRAKSHAN JEEVAN  RAKSHAN ‘ organized at Raman Munjal Vidya Mandir , Siddhrawali , Gurugram on April 21, 2018 . First Position was bagged by the host school. The presentation given by the students left the judges and the participating schools spellbound  as they performed exceedingly well to bring into light the need to conserve the resources for the future generation  and their spirit  was applauded by all  .  This is just a minute step taken by the Blue Bellians to showcase their commitment for conserving the resources . Renowned schools like DPS, Sushant Lok, DAV, Sector 14, Suncity World School and  CCA etc. participated the event. Heartiest Congratulations to the school team for this marvelous performance!  

INTER SCHOOL SKATING TOURNAMENT

Champions become Champions when they inherit in them a dream, desire and vision. The Skating team of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School personified this thought and exhibited their excellence by proving their mettle in a Skating Tournament held at Suraj School, Sector-56, Gurugram on March 24, 2018. The school team clinched Five Gold and One Silver Medal. The Blue Bellians who  bagged laurels for their alma mater are:-

INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD (IIO) LEVEL 2

 The versatile student of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proved their mettle in the International Informatics Olympiad (IIO) Level 2 by Silverzone Foundation. Pragyan Sharma of class IX B & Kushagra Luthra of Class VI C have bagged Second   & Third Rank respectively at the State Level. They were rewarded with exciting prizes for being the STATE TOPPERS. Pragyan Sharma also clinched Olympiad Rank Seventh   at the International level. The students competed with their counter parts from India and abroad and curved a niche for them-selves  at the International level of the Olympiad.

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School was honoured for its outstanding Academic Rigour and excellent Teacher Training methodology at the Award Ceremony hosted by Indian Education Awards 2018 on February 13, 2018 at J.W. Marriott Hotel , New Delhi .On behalf of the school, the prestigious recognition was received by Ms. Arpita Acharya , Vice Principal, BBPS ,  amidst coterie of elite educationists from all over the country.   From among 500 nominees ,the Award conferred on the school  was a recognition and   felicitation of   excellence, reputation and exemplary work in the Education Sector in a spectacular style. It also proved testimony to the accomplishment of   academic goals and outstanding achievements through innovation, leadership, dedication and commitment towards learning.

It was a proud moment as our school was the only one in Gurugram to be recognized and felicitated for Excellent Teacher Training Methodology and only four other schools were chosen           from Gurugram -The Heritage School, Lotus Valley , Shiv Nadar and DPS International  for the recognition in different categories like  Innovation , Infrastructure , Best Principal etc,

SWARNIMA : A RESPLENDENT STAR OF Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

Swarnima, the ace Volley Ball Player of the school showcased her supreme game command and prowess at the National Level Volley Ball Championship in Vijaypur , Karnataka from January 7 to 11,2018.

Swarmina was selected as the Best Defender in the CBSE National Level Volley Ball Cluster. She was the only girl from Gurugram to be selected for the Under 14 Girls Team of Haryana for the National Level in Karnataka . The Haryana team bagged the coveted Third Position in the Championship where Swarnima played a pivotal role in the success story crafted. A number of teams from all over India competed in the Championship. The agility of our skilled player wowed the spectators.

BLUE BELLIANS PROVE THAT INNOVATION IS THE KEY TO A WONDERFUL WORLD

The versatile students of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proved their technical prowess and innovation at a Live Show in Delhi Doordarshan at Doordarshan Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, Delhi on January 4, 2018, by Atal Innovation Mission Team , NITI Aayog on the theme , “How Innovation Will Create A New India,”. Our agile technical experts displayed their exemplary finesse when they were invited to showcase their project among the top schools of Delhi & NCR.

It was indeed a proud moment for the school when Dhruv Punia , Arjun and Abhisaar of Class VIII B were invited to demonstrate their project and it was the only project to be demonstrated during the show as the ATL team wanted to know more about the idea and the skills that helped the students to think out of box and design this project. The students have devised a methodology by which the movement of the Wheel chair would be directed by the movement of the Head. The students also designed a Blind Stick with inbuilt sensors connected to the Mobile Phone which would identify hurdles and give the next direction to move, it would prove beneficial to the people with visual disability. The use of Accelerometer in the avant-garde manner was heartily appreciated by Ms. Aaysha Choudhary from ATL and Mr. Prasoon , an Idea Investor.

Vardhan and Hemang of Class IX also detailed everyone on their project – Atuomated Ambulance Service .

RHYTHMIC RAGA – AN INTER SCHOOL DANCE COMPETITION  

Dance is the music of the soul. It mystifies the power of God and is the divine manifestation of  creativity . In sync with the same, the school participated in Rhythmic Raaga-  Inter School  Dance Competition at Amity International School on December 19, 2017.

Scintillating  Dance Moves of the students  enthralled and mesmerized the judges and audience  as the  students presented Jugaalbandi-Indo Western Fusion Dance  and clinched First position among the renowned schools of Gurugram.
