AT WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP GLOBAL ROUND IN KAULA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

Language is an effective medium to unleash one’s innate potential and to articulate one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions. It was a moment of immense pride whenKartikeyGulia ,Head boy  of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School  qualified and competed  in the prestigious World Scholar's Cup Kuala Lumpur Global Round , Malaysia from June 17 to June 23, 2018  where more than 5,000 scholars from over 50 countries competed.

Kartikeywas grouped with a team from Cambodia and clinched the following awards in the various categories :

·        Gold Medal: Individual Debate

·        Gold Medal: Top Scholars

·        Silver Medal: Scholars Bowl

·        Silver Medal: Writing

·         Silver Medal: Team Debate

He will now participate in the event’s ‘Tournament of Champions’ Round to be held at Yale University, USA, in November 2018.The World Scholar’s Cup is an international Competition, consisting of debating, quizzes, team quizzes and written debate. This competition doesn’t just test your academic skill, but also your team work as the Team Quiz, and Team Debate which requires coordination to be on point otherwise you would lose to the other team.

Along with the Competition,Kartikey was also involved in Community Events like  :

·        ScavengerHunt: 12 scholars from 12 different countries were grouped together to complete a set of tasks at the Sunway Lagoon Water park

·        Talent Show: Scholars around the globe showed their talents in different domains

The Management, Director, Vice Principal and teachers congratulated Kartikey and wished him luck for the next round in Yale University.

Blue Bellians have again proved their mettle by achieving an excellent Class X Board Result in the Academic Session 2017-18.   Out of 145 students who appeared for the Board Examination 48 students have score more than 90% marks.

BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School , SECTOR 10, GURUGRAM IN HARYANA STATE UNDER 17 ROLL BALL BOYS/GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Skating team of the school performed exceeding well in the State Level Championship on May 26 & May 27 , 2018 at OPS Vidya Mandir , Sector 13, Karnal. The  splendid performance of Jatan Dudeja ( XI A) and Ojasw Makkar (X A) helped them clinch Gold Medal and Winners Position for  the Gurugram Team.

Jatan scored three goals for the team and was highly lauded by all for his performance and skill . While the  boys were showcasing their technical skills and command , Yatika ( X C ) and Diya (VII A) proved their mettle playing for the Gurugram Girls Team and bagged the Silver Medal and Runners Up Position. The participants and the coaches were in appreciation of the Goal Keeping Skills of Yatika who was excellent on the rink  and Diya scored two goals against the opponents .

 Kudos to the School team for this marvelous performance and heartiest wishes for the Nationals !

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, SECTOR 10, GURUGRAM  REGISTER A THUMPING VICTORY AT UNDER 17 (BOYS / GIRLS)HARAYANA STATE ROLL BALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

The students of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School  showcased their supreme command in the Skating Rink and exhibited clean master  strokes to help Haryana Under 17 Boys team  lift the Winning Trophy and become the State Champions  in the Under 17 Boys /Girls Roll Ball Championship 2018 held at Karnal on May 26 & May 27, 2018 .

Jatan Dudeja (XI A) and Ojasv Makkar (X A) were in the Boys team and played exceedingly well to help their team hit the winning stroke . All the judges were in special praise of Jatan for his magnificent technique and coordination with the team . Around 13 brilliant teams from the state with more than 156 skaters competed in the Championship . Team Haryana took the lead from the beginning and defeated the strong team of Sonipat by 5-2.

When the boys were making a mark , how can the girls be left behind . Jiya Mehta(VIII B) and Yatika (X C) were a part of Under 17 Haryana Girls Team and clinched the First Runners Up position by winning over Rohtak team with a margin of 3-0.

DISTRICT ROLL BALL TOURNAMENT

‘Victory is our motto, whatever we desire , we accomplish , we achieve ‘, this maxim was personified to reality when the multi-talented skaters of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School showcased their finesse and magic on the Skating Rink by Clinching the Winner’s Trophy (Girls ) and Second Runner-Up (Boys) Trophy in Under 17 years Boys and Girls District Roll Ball Tournament at Pole Star Public School , Sector 7, Gurugram on May 19, 2018 .

The event witnessed the participation of the skaters from renowned schools of the District. The Girls' mix team of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Suncity World School and Greenwood Public School clinched the Winner’s Trophy and Boys School Team were the Second Runners Up in the competition which saw high voltage performance by all skaters . The selected skaters will now play for the State Level in Karnal on May 26 & May 27, 2018 .

 The Management & Director lauded the performance of the Skating Team and wished them luck for the future ventures.

REGULARITY AND PUCNCTUALITY AWARD CEREMONY

 “Keeping in trend the need for new ideas and methodology”, Blue Bells has always implemented new ways of teaching .  The school is a heaven where true knowledge transcends the boundaries of the classroom walls and pages in the text books and extends its arm to grasp information from the outer world as well. Education aims at making children capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of a society.  Knowledge, Skills and attitude are built through learning experiences and opportunity created for learners in school . The students who had achieved the tough target of registering 100 % attendance in the last academic session 2017-18 were honoured   with Regularity & Punctuality Awards on May 16, 2018 & May 18, 2018 for the Primary & Senior Wing respectively. The young achievers were felicitated by the Vice Principal and respective Wing Incharges of the school.

V. C. ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

The versatile and talented  Skaters of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram exhibit their supreme command in the Skating Rink by clinching Two Gold Medals in the V. C. Roller Skating Championship at Swiss Cottage School on May 13, 2018.

The budding Skaters - Harshant of Class IV B  (  6-8 Category ) and Siddhanth of Class VII B ( 10-12 Category)  performed exceedingly well and registered their place among the top Skaters of the Tournament and bagged   Gold Medals respectively in their individual category.  Around 250 participants from renowned schools of Delhi, NCR  & Bhiwani competed in the event.

IN STAGEKRAFT : ANNUAL LITERARY & THEATRE COMPETITION

The school team showcased their prowess and command in varied Literary Events  at StageKraft 2018:  Annual Literary  & Theatre Fest at Sanskrit School, New Delhi on May 12, 2018 .

Mayank Garg of Class X clinched Runners Up Position in Stand Up Comedy (English) and Chirayu Setia  of Class IX conjured up a magical performance in Stand -Up Comedy ( Hindi)  and  bagged the coveted  Second Position.

 The event saw the enthusiastic participation of renowned schools of Delhi & NCR ( Salwan, DPS, DAV and  Ryan etc.) and the level of the competition was high. The judges were thoroughly mesmerized by the energetic and lively performance of our students and heartily lauded their efforts.
