ACADEMIC AWARD CEREMONY: FELICITATING THE ACHIEVERS

The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph.

The students of Classes Nursery-II were felicitated for their meritorious performance in academics and for securing 100% attendance for the Session 2021-22 in an Online Academic Award Ceremony on August 14, 2021. The ceremony began on a propitious note by invoking the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati.

It was followed by the announcement of achievers amidst loud applause. The theme based integrated approach of the curriculum was showcased through a Power Point Presentation on the topic ‘Food’. An experiment by Ayaan Dang exhibited the Scientific temper honed by the school from an early age.

Honourable Director Madam praised the students for their hard work and perseverance. She also appreciated the parents for motivating their wards.

Ms Sandra Grujevska from Macedonia was the Guest of Honour in the ceremony. She spoke very highly about the values and skills that were being inculcated by the school. Madam Arpita Acharya, Officiating Principal blessed the students on the occasion.

The programme ended with the Vote of Thanks by Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing In charge.

Independence Day Celebration

Students marching with pride, Tricolour unfurling, soulful renditions and mesmerising patriotic dances! The Platinum Jubilee   of India’s Independence was celebrated by every Blue Bellian with patriotic fervour, in both offline and online mode on August 13 and August 15, 2021 respectively.

The students of the school presented the journey of their beloved Motherland from the Revolt of 1857 to the current times through a captivating dance-drama, ‘Ode to India’ and saluted their rich cultural heritage and sacrifices of the gallant patriots.

The cherished moment became momentous when Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati , Honourable Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools hoisted the National Flag and felicitated the meritorious students. While addressing the august gathering, Madam encouraged the students to remember and honour the sacrifices made by our great martyrs to make us breathe in an independent nation.

CYBER SAFETY WORKSHOP

PROFOUND COMMITMENT OF Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School FOR DIGITAL SAFETY AND SMARTNESS: CYBER SAFETY WORKSHOP BY MR. RAKSHIT TANDON, CYBER SECURITY EXPERT

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School organized a Cyber Safety Workshop on August 14, 2021 for the students, parents and members of the school. Mr. Rakshit Tandon, a Cyber Security go speller with an experience of more than a decade in Security Domain, chairing and part of various Important Security Councils and Chapter kindly consented to be the Guest Speaker.

The workshop is a proud initiative of the IT Department of the school under the mentorship of Madam Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director IT , BBGS. The aim of the workshop was to sensitize everyone on ‘Cyber Smartness & Safety.’ Mr. Tandon shared guidelines for the same . He created awareness around different types of frauds including helpline frauds, moratorium frauds, email scams. He also explained the importance of maintaining password security and installation and regular update of antivirus software. Besides these measures, he shared ways in which everyone could guard themselves against online predators and be safe without losing on the advantages that the internet provides.

Mr. Tandon also spoke of behavioural issues such as mood swings, sleep disorders, isolation and frustration that are prevalent amongst teenagers as well as adults due to an addiction to social media. The members of the workshop could easily connect and identify with the issues as it was expressed in a lively and engaging manner.

Speaking on the occasion, Madam Anshuka Aneja , Deputy Director -IT, BBGS thanked Mr. Rakshit Tandon for the session and his unconditional support to the organization in creating a ‘Cyber Safe Environment’. Ma’am also lauded the efforts of the school team and Blue Bellians for internalising the learning and contributing heartily for the vision.

Investiture Ceremony -Primary Wing

DECLARATION OF THE PRIMARY WING STUDENT COUNCIL

Leadership is an art honed by grit and hard work.

The Investiture Ceremony of the Primary Wing for the academic year 2021-22 was held on August 7, 2021 to inculcate leadership skills among the students and to make them responsible future citizens.

The programme commenced with Ganesh Vandana to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The council members of the Session 2020-21 shared their experience and handed over their responsibilities to the newly appointed council members who were adorned with the sash and badge by their parents. Soham Shrivastava and Charvi Vashisht were declared the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively for the Session 2021-22. The young, spirited and zealous council members were all set to take up the responsibilities entrusted to them. They promised that they would discharge their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. Charvi Vashisht, the Head Girl for the Session 2021-22 administered the oath to the council members. The presentation of an energetic fusion dance was apt to elevate the celebration fervour.

The event was graced by the benign presence of Honourable Director Dr Saroj Suman Gulati. Madam congratulated the outgoing council members on successfully completing their tenure and advised them to guide the newly elected members of the council. She advised all the students to be aware of their responsibilities.

Madam Arpita Acharya, Officiating Principal encouraged the students to march ahead and take a lead. She urged them to understand the power of team work. Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Leader, Primary Wing thanked all the parents and the dignitaries for their motivating presence.

FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION

The students of Class VA presented a special assembly to commemorate ‘Friendship Day’ on August 2, 2021. Besides having the usual features of the assembly, there was a delightful presentation called 'Friends Forever' which showcased various hues of friendship including a lilting song and an energetic dance which added charm to the assembly. The skit highlighted the characteristics of true friends and how they help each other to learn social and academic skills with ease. Various craft items made by the students to celebrate the special bond with their friends were showcased.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Madam Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, encouraged the students to be true friends and value the bond of friendship.

GURU PURNIMA

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School CELEBRATED GURU PURNIMA

"Guru is an inspiration and aspiration."

A special assembly was held by the students of Class IV B on July 26, 2021 to express their sincere gratitude towards their Gurus and Mentors. The entire atmosphere of the assembly was imbued with the feelings of reverence towards Gurus.

The programme commenced with the regular features of the assembly. The beautiful poem recitation highlighted the necessity of Gurus in our life. Students paid ode to their teachers through a speech, a melodious song and an enthralling dance performance. The chanting of dohas created a divine resonance in the assembly.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, gave a golden advice to them that they must respect all those who teach them, especially their mothers for being their first Guru.Madam Arpita Acharya, Officiating Principal applauded the students for their praiseworthy presentation.

It was a delightful presentation dedicated to the Gurus.

World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated across the world to raise awareness about protecting precious nature and natural resources. To brighten hopes for a greener tomorrow, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade II on July 28, 2021.  

The assembly commenced with the Gayatri Mantra and the school prayer. Thereafter, the students spoke about the importance of healthy environment in laying the foundation for a stable and productive society. 

Students expressed their concern for the protection of natural resources through thoughtful slogans. The melodious song and the rhythmic dance presentation highlighted the importance of conservation of nature. The enriching morning assembly was indeed an extraordinary experience for everyone. 

The students were able to successfully deliver the message that we all should work together to conserve the nature for a brighter tomorrow.

INTERNATIONAL CHESS DAY

INTERNATIONAL CHESS DAY CELEBRATED AT Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

To commemorate the inauguration of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in Paris in 1924, the United Nations designated July 20 as International Chess Day. 

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School celebrated International Chess Day on July 20,2021 by organising a Chess Tournament for the students of Classes IX to XII. The students enjoyed playing Chess in the virtual mode under the guidance of their teachers.

             INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2021-22 – CARVING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

 The Investiture Ceremony, held on the July17, 2021 was celebrated with enthusiasm and grandeur. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Investiture Ceremony commenced with virtual Diya Lighting, School Song and a host of cultural performances.

 The newly selected Student Council of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School was conferred upon with their posts. The Student Council members of the previous year handed over their responsibilities to the new members in the solemn Ceremony. Each student leader stood proud and prepared to shoulder their responsibilities with vigour, zest and newfound enthusiasm as they promised to carry forward the legacy of the school with honesty and sincerity. The student leaders took an oath where they pledged to uphold and follow the principles and values of the school.

The ceremony concluded with our honourable Director, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati addressing the zealous trailblazers with her words of encouragement and motivation. Ma’am congratulated the outgoing Council Members for their hard work and dedication,as well.

Citation Ceremony- Adieu Batch 2020-21

The Citation ceremony, a mega event is held every year to bid adieu and give recognition to the outgoing students and to encourage them to hone their talents and flourish in times to come.

Citation Ceremony was organised for the outgoing Class of 2021 on the virtual platform on July 03,2021. The ceremony was initiated with a virtual Diya Lighting Ceremony and was followed by a host of cultural events including the School Song. Each student of the outgoing Class XII was felicitated with a citation during the ceremony. The framed citations highlight their talents and achievements in the years gone by.

The ceremony culminated with blessings by the honourable Director, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati and Officiating Principal, Ms. Arpita Acharya. The members of the Student Council expressed their emotions and gratitude towards the institution. It was a sentimental moment for the students, teachers and the parents.
