NCRYPT- AN INTER SCHOOL IT FEST

"Creative thinking is not a talent, it is a skill that can be learnt. It empowers people by adding strength to their natural abilities which improves teamwork, productivity and reap rich dividends." Education provides us knowledge to train our mind and sharpen our skills and abilities. The latest knowledge base that is gaining momentum now-a-days is Robotics. The Robotic Club of the school has been preparing students for various Competitions in nCrypt IT Fest at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok , Gurgaon on November 24, 2016. The  school teams qualified  prelims in the following events and made it to the finals in Web Designing, Photography and  eNcrypt. The School bagged Second Prize in the eNcrypt event in the competition. The level of the  competition was high as most of the prestigious schools from NCR like Modern School, Tagore School, DPS, Amity, Pathways, Suncity  etc. participated in the event . The Management, Director and Principal of the school appreciated the efforts of the students and wished them all luck in the future ventures.

MI “ ME “ AN INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION ON MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School EXEMPLIFY SUCCESS AT MI “ ME “ AN INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION ON MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE Howard Gardener wrote,” Knowledge is not the same as morality, but we need to understand if we are to avoid mistakes and move in productive directions.  An important part of that understanding is knowing who we are and what we can do… Ultimately, we must synthesize our understandings for ourselves.” This is what is referred to as Multiple Intelligence, a path breaking concept of holistic learning by Professor Howard Gardener. To stimulate this inherent reservoir of talent in the students, the school participated in MI-ME, an Inter School Multiple Intelligence Competition on November 18, 2016 at Suncity World School. The school team comprising of twenty one  students competed in various competitions to mark the multiple intelligence theory like Extempore, Appreciation of Art, Social Science Quiz, Appreciation of Music and Obstacle Race. In the Individual Category (Group 4) Shivani Yadav of Class XI  bagged  First Position in Art To Astound and Chandrachur Sinha of Class X clinched Second Position in Rhapsody , In Group 2 , Priya Yadav of Class VIII won the Second Position in Linguistic and Kashish Rawat of Class VIII was First Runners Up in Rhapsody , In Group 3, Tarushi Kalra of Class VII was adjudged as First in Milieu and in Group 4 , Aiana Yadav of Class V  clinched Second Position in Art To Astound. Adding to this glory was the Ace Team of the school that bagged two Awards – Divya Sharma of Class V was the Second in the Category and Arpita Agarwal of Class IX was the Second Runners Up . The school team clinched Eight Awards in the competition. The Management, Director and Principal of the school extended their felicitations to the students for this  astounding feat.

INTER SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION

Deliberation and speech  is the way you stir the soul of democracy.   Elocution not only develops communication skills research and critical thinking but also provides a stimulating environment that fosters the development of creative and critical thinking. To provide this unique learning tool the students of the school participated in a Debate Competition organized by Lord Jesus School on November 18 2016 . The school team comprising of Arya Mishra and Sanya Madan presented their views on the topic ‘Social Media Has Empowered All Generations.”  The performance of the students was commendable as the level of the competition was high and the content of the team was wholeheartedly appreciated by the revered jury for the Competition . Arya Mishra bagged the consolation prize in the Debate Competition which saw the participation of renowned schools of Gurgaon. Heartiest congratulations to Arya for achieving the target.

HT PACE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2016

Writing essays is searching your soul. When one writes an essay – one learns to express oneself in a more logical way, and also develops writing skills,  vocabulary and ones own writing style. By writing simple essays one can grow to be a very talented and creative writer or speaker, or logical thinker or whatever. Writing develops you in many ways. “ it helps in  logical thinking in a written form.  To provide this unique simulated platform of exposure to the students , the school participated in an Essay Writing Competition by HT PACE. The NMNH in association with HT PACE conducted "NMNH-HT PACE Essay Writing Competition" in Junior (class IV & V) and Senior (class VI, VII & VIII) categories for the students of HT PACE member schools on  November16, 2016. The students  were invited from the schools and huge number of  entries were received. The essay writing copies were evaluated by the external Judges nominated by NMNH. First, Second, Third and Five Encouragements Prize Winners were selected in each category. It was a proud moment for the school when Goohika Joshi of Class IV B bagged the Encouragement Award for her soul expression . She was felicitated with the award on November 29, 2016 at Aravali Biodiversity Park, Poorvi Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The Management, Director and Principal of the school lauded the efforts of Goohika and wished her luck in future ventures.

The students of the school participated in the CBSE North Zone II School Roller Skating Championship from November 2 to November 6, 2016  at B.D. S. School , Amritsar.  Many renowned schools of the Zone competed in the Championship.  Ghazal Verma in  Under-8 yrs Inline Girls Category clinched  Gold in 300 Mts. TT race & Gold in 1000 Mts.  rink race and qualified for the Nationals.  Abhimanyu in Under 10 yrs Inline Boys bagged  Gold  Medal in 3oo Mts , Gold in 300 Mts. TT race & Gold in 1000 Mts. rink race and qualified for the  Nationals. . Taniska in under-14 yrs Inline Girls won a  Bronze Medal and  Jiya Mehta in Under-16 yrs Inline Girls bagged a Bronze medal

IRC ZONAL COMPETITION

"The Chief aim of education is the harmonious development of the all – the God given power and capacities of a human being." Victory is our motto, winning is our habit whatever we desire, we accomplish, we achieve.  With this basic guiding principle our students participate in all the competitions. The students not only prove their mettle but also act as tough competitors to the other participants. Continuing with the glorious tradition, the students of the Robotics Club participated in the IRC Zonal Competition at St Marks School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi on October 25, 2016 . Around 110 teams from all over Delhi & NCR competed to register their place for the National level. The Senior Level Team clinched the Gold Medal and Middle Level Team bagged the Silver Medal in the coveted competition among tough competitors. The Management, Director & Principal of the school extended their felicitations to the winners for achieving this astounding feat.

CYBERTRONIX 2016 – AN INTER SCHOOL MEGA IT FEST HOSTED BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School , SECTOR 10, GURGAON Ignited minds are the most powerful resource compared to any resource on the earth.  Technological advancements in the world have been possible due to innovative thinking, original concepts, original ideas and a broad vision.  The school organized CYBERTRONIX  2016, an Inter School IT Fest  on October 22, 2016, to provide a unique learning platform to the students to hone their tech skills. The competition was a beehive of science and technological activity where the objective was to cultivate the creative spirit , practical ability and encourage outstanding talents among the students . The Opening Ceremony for this Mega Fest , was graced by the benign presence of the renowned panel of jury , experts in their own fields, dignitaries from the Management  and Mrs. Anshuka Aneja, Assistant Director ,  IT , BBGS who is the soul and spirit behind the inception and actualization of this mega event . Plethora of Tech events were organized for the students of Classes III to XII where the students enjoyed competing with each other. The creativity and expression of the participants was adjudged by the eminent personalities from the field of education, culture and Information Technology. The Closing Ceremony of the Mega IT Fest  was adorned with the illustrious presence of Ms. Neeraj Jain , Scientist and IT Head,  DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi .  Shri. Mahesh Chandra, revered Chairman and  Ms. Anshuka Aneja , Assistant Director IT  , BBGS blessed everyone with their radiant presence. The students presented a well orchestrated programme where there was a perfect amalgamation of Dance presentation along with  Reminiscence- a kaleidoscopic view of Cybertronix 2016. The achievers of various IT Competitions were felicitated by the revered Chief Guest Ms. Neeraj Jain  and Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Assistant Director- IT ,  BBGS. Ms. Neeraj Jain  congratulated the students for  a wonderful show and presentation. She  asked the students to be Tech Savvy and conscious rather than tech slaves.  The Winner of the Competition was Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School  , as the host school does not take the trophy, the trophy was passed to Lions Public School. The Runners-up Trophy was clinched by Blue Bells Model School. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anshuka Aneja shared that the motive of Cybertronix 2016 was to promote originality, creative and innovative spirit among students so that they become the leaders of the society and nation at large. Blue Bellians had made their alma mater proud by being open to experimentation and challenges to reach higher goals set.

IRC ZONAL LEVEL COMPETITION AT LOTUS VALLEY SCHOOL

"Champions do not become champions  when they win an event, but in the hours , weeks , months and years they spend preparing for it . The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character." The end of all education, all training is to make the man grow. The training by which the current expression of will is brought under control and become fruitful in its real sense is Education. With the aim of empowering the youth with the power to think and to develop the sense of self-confidence, Robotics Club was introduced in the school. The students of the Club have been actively participating in varied Inter School Robotics Events and proving their mettle. In sync with the same vision, the students of the Robotics Club participated in the IRC OPEN LEAGUE ZONAL COMPETITION at Lotus Valley International School on Ocotber 20, 2016 . In the Senior Level , the school team bagged the First Runners Up and Second Runners Up position and qualified for the next level of the competition. The Management , Director and Principal of the congratulated the students and Yoga Coach for the performance.
