Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School PROUDLY HOSTED SANSKARSHALA –INTER SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION BY DAINIK JAGRAN

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.”

 Language is an effective medium to unleash one’s innate potential and to articulate one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions.  Interactive and representational deliberation plays a major role in moulding an adolescent’s logical thinking and reasoning . In pursuance of this objective , the school hosted an Inter School Debate Competition in collaboration with Dainik Jagran on November 21, 2018 . The occasion was blessed by the radiant presence of Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati ,esteemed Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The participants of fifteen schools from Gurugram competed in the Competition divided in two phases. The topic chosen for Round I was ‘Gender Discrimination Leads to gender inequality or vice versa’.   Though a controversial topic, it was evident that the participants had done extensive research before articulating their viewpoints with confidence and poise.  The interjectors were no less brilliant with their pertinent and thought –provoking questions. The competition was adjudged by Dr. Mukta , a renowned writer and Hindi educator , Dr. Garima ,  member of Editorial Board of three international Journals and Mr. Manoj Kumar Lakra , PGT –Hindi , Government Senior Secondary School, Gurugram . After the rigorous first round , six teams were shortlisted for the Final Round.

The topic given for the Final Round was –‘ Discipline Obstructs Innovation’. All the six teams debated and questioned one another perfectly . It was a battle of words with extreme level of conviction that made it difficult to for the judges to adjudge the winner . Greenwood Public School clinched the First Position , Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School bagged the Second Position and the Third Position was won by Blue Bells Model School .

The Competition was a step in the right direction to foster the spirit of enquiry and critical thinking among the gen-now along with honing the literary skills. Provoking the learners to think towards the right course, this debate competition  acted  as a catalyst to inculcate and kindle the thought process of the learners to judge the situations effectively.

INTERNATIONAL ROBOTOCS CHALLENGE  NORTH DELHI QUALIFIER: SEASON 9

The tech savvy & multi-talented students of Blue Bells Public School proved their technical prowess again in the qualifiers Round of IRC (International Robotics Challenge) organized at Darbari Lal DAV Model School, Pitampura, New Delhi on November 15, 2018.

Our team of Tech Robotics Experts of team ‘50 Shades of Wickedness’ - Mudit Ahlawat, Krrish Deswal, Sarthak Gupta & Aakash Phogat of class VII displayed exemplary expertise and solved the problem statements given in the competition and clinched Third Prize in Middle level.

Carrying forward the winning streak, team ‘Digisheeps’ - Zayna Khan, Sushant Yadav, Anetra Godiyal & Siddhant Kumar of class VI bagged the Third Position in the Senior Level.

Overall 63 teams from many prestigious schools like  G. D Goneka , DPS Sonipat ,DAV Delhi , Venkateshwar Global School ,The Sri Ram School etc.  participated & competed in this event which is a beehive of technical advancement in the world. The school's Middle & Senior Team have now qualified for the Nationals  at Tyagraj Stadium, New Delhi.

The Management , Director, Deputy Director –IT and Vice Principal congratulated the students and the mentor and wished them luck for the future ventures.

Language is an effective medium for the communication of one’s thoughts and ideas, which reflects the purity of one’s innermost soul. Children’s Day Celebration multiplied manifolds as soon as the Students’ Edition of HT Pace on November 14, 2018 reached the students and they quickly acknowledged that the views of Himani Gupta of Class XI C were printed in the Students’ Column . Himani expressed her views on Hard Childhood Prepares Children To Face Life’s Challenges In A Better Way. She wrote , “ One’s character is shaped by what they see, hear and do, especially in their childhood. Childhood is a phase which can totally make or destroy a person’s life. Impressions from this phase last forever and influence one’s decisions and actions throughout his life. Tough conditions of living and control on one’s desires in the childhood help them to a strong and influential character. An easy and less disciplined childhood, on the other hand, shapes only weak characters. Hardships brings along with it emotional strength, discipline and wisdom. Parents, their attitude and their financial conditions play a big role in the character building process of their children. How they address their children’s mistakes, failures and issues gives the craving young minds an overview of what lies ahead, and how it is to be tackled. Overall, we should not treat hardships of childhood as a hurdle but as a booster for a successful life.   “

District Roller Skating Association organized,District Speed Skating Championship held at Baliwas International Skating Bank Track on November 12, 2018 . Four students took part in the same and Ragini Piplani - XI-C won silver medal in 1000 meters track race and qualified for the State Championship to be held at Gurugram on December 7-9, 2018.

The Management, Director and Vice Principal of the school congratulated the students and the Skating Coach for their marvellous performance.

The Primary Wing Students put up a remarkable presentation in the Dance Competition to clinch Third Position in Swapnil Rang - Inter School Cultural Fest at Lions Public School on November 3,2018.

The  students presented a fusion of Bhangra and Giddha , the Folk Dances of Punjab and enthralled everyone with their energetic dance moves on foot tapping music. The teams from renowned schools of Gurugram competed in the event .

G.D. Goenka Inter School Football Tournament 2018

UNDER 17 Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School FOOTBALL TEAM CHARTING THE SUCCESS SAGA AT G.D. GOENKA INTER SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT!

The Under 17 Boys team won their knock out matches from S.N. Siddheshwar School by a comprehensive margin of 8-0 and then recreating magic by defeating Gems International School by the margin of 2-0  in the G.D. Goenka Inter School Football Tournament 2018  from October 29 to October 31, 2018.

With the wins under their belt, the team defeated K.R. Mangalam World School with a score of 1-0 and clinched the Second Runners Up Position in the Tournament on October 31, 2018 .  Sixteen renowned teams from prestigious schools of Gurugram competed where each and every match tested the strength of the team in all domains.

ACCOLADES FOR BLUE BELLIANS IN MTNL PERFECT HEALTH MATHEMATICS MELA

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School registered a stunning victory at MTNL Perfect Health Mathematics Mela organized at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Over 20 schools from Delhi-NCR participated in the event.

The students of Classes VI to IX secured prizes in three out of the four events they participated in. The students accomplished the prizes in the following events:

* Maths Art – First Prize (Classes VI to VIII)

* Solving Rubik's Cube- Second Prize (Classes VI and VII)

* Mathematical Board Game- Third Prize ( Classes VIII to X)

The students of the school were confidently able to outshine their competitors by virtue of their knowledge and intellect .

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School SHINE BRIGHTLY IN THE IRC QUALIFIER ROUND

The tech masters from Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School participated in the Zonal Level Inter School Robotics Challenge 2018 organized by Building Blocks at ‘The Maurya School’* Gurugram on 27 October 2018. The team from our school participated at all the levels and run the Robots as per the given statement.

Jr team comprises of Yatharth , Om, Harshit & Rudra of class V bagged Silver Medal and the Middle level team comprises of Nikunja ,Aryan, Vaibhav & Prabhpreet of class VII bagged Bronze Medal. Overall 51 teams participated from Delhi & NCR competed in the event.

Adding more glory was the fact that both the teams qualified for the Nationals at Tyagraj Stadium in Delhi during December.

Arya Mishra bagged the Award for Best Speaker - Opposition by  presenting her views Against The Motion on the topic  Cashless Economy - A Far Cry For India,* in an Inter School Debate Competition organized by Raman Munjal Vidya Mandir , Gurugram on October 25,2018.

Arya spoke with conviction with a sound choice of words complimented by her flow of ideas with perfect diction and modulation of voice.
