‘SEWA’ Helps Blue Bellians Reach Nationals

CBSE recently organised an Artificial Intelligence Enabled ‘SEWA’ Programme for students of Class XI-XII. The five-step training programme was conducted by IBM trained experts to foster students’ innovation capabilities and make them AI ready. 

Under this programme, Blue Bellians developed the ‘I-helmet’, the prototype of an aid that helps the blind, while on the move, detect an object in front of them. The ‘I-helmet’ uses an AI-enabled programme through a pre-installed hardware in the helmet for this purpose. The idea behind building this aid was to create a safer environment for the blind and help them be more independent.

The programme witnessed participation from 119 renowned schools from across India. This came down to 30 schools after a rigorous selection process that saw teams go through many challenging rounds.

We are delighted that the BBPS team made it to the top 15 and has been selected for the Nationals.

The winning team, comprising of Namo Jain (XII-A), Aryan Chauhan (XII-A), Divanshu Chauhan (XII-B) and Shikhar Srivastava (XII-B), has also secured an internship and qualified for the ‘ED Youth Challenge’.

Roopneet (Class III) and Vineet (Class IV) Shine at ‘Xavenium 20’

It is a time to rejoice and to celebrate the success of the students of the Primary Wing of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School who have emerged as champions at the Inter School Competition ‘Xavenium 20’ held by St. Xavier’s High School.

Budding IT wizard, Roopneet Kaur of Class III, received Second Prize in the Doodle Art Competition ‘Zentangles’. She used the software ‘Tux Paint’ to present a doodle for which the theme was ‘Do the Impossible’.

Vineet Janghu of Class IV participated in a one-of-a-kind competition called ‘Young Reporter-Free Press’. Participants in this competition had to present a programme aimed at spreading a message of optimism and happiness. Vineet’s presentation and the confidence with which he presented it impressed the judges and bagged him the First Position.

Pranav Shrivastava and Yash Mittal Runners Up at PRATIBIMB 2020

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School is delighted to share that Pranav Shrivastava and Yash Mittal of Class XII-A made the school proud by clinching second position in the ‘Science in Sports’ category at PRATIBIMB – a multicultural Interschool event organised by G.D Goenka School, Sector 48, Gurugram. The event, which witnessed participation of 39 teams from across renowned schools of Delhi-NCR, was held virtually.

In the ‘Science in Sports’ category, students were asked to select a sport and explain its correlation with different scientific phenomena through a presentation. The entire event was held over Google Meet with each team presenting their selection to all other teams and judges. Pranav and Yash were also complimented and appreciated and given a special mention for their well-designed presentation.

It was a moment of great pride and jubilation for Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School as students of its Primary Wing emerged as winners at ‘Visionnaire’, an online interschool competition held by Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok.

The students creativity combined with their efforts ensured that they outshone all other students at the many events that formed this competition.

Naysha of Class III held everyone spellbound with her captivating storytelling with the help of shadows and bagged the Second Prize in the event ‘Silhouette Spiel’.

Nishtha Makkar of Class IV displayed her scientific temperament with the help of a very innovative model in the event ‘Serious About Science’ and won the Second Prize in the category.

Yatharth Gaur of Class V clinched the consolation prize in the event ‘Vibgyor’ at which he exhibited his excellent IT skills.

Back-to-Back Victory for Juhi Arora

We are immensely proud to share that Juhi Arora of Class VIII, who recently won the prestigious National Science Concours 2019 (NSC) 2 years in a row, has now bagged First Prize at the Atal Tinkering Event (Games Artefact).

Atal Tinkering Event is an interschool game design competition organised by Bal Bharti Public School. Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad. This time the event witnessed participation of 150 teams from across renowned schools of Delhi-NCR.

National Science Concours 2019 (NSC)

Blue Bellian wins the National Science Concours 2019 (NSC)

We’re delighted to share that Juhi Arora of Class VIII has won the prestigious National Science Concours 2019 (NSC) in the Class VI to VIII category for the 2nd year in a row.

Recognised by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NSC is the first-of-its-kind national level online science competition and is part of Foundation for Innovation and Experiential Learning, a not-for-profit organisation.

This year’s winning project by Juhi was on ‘Innovative Ways to Conserve Electricity’ for which she received a trophy, a certificate and a cheque of Rs 5000/-.

A big round of applause for Juhi and here’s to more accolades!

ROBOTRONICS

STUNNING ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR BLUE BELLIANS IN ROBOTRONICS

We feel honored to share that the students once again made their presence felt loud and clear at Robotronics-An Inter-School Robo-Tech Championship-2020 organized by Amity School Sec-46.

Aaryaveer Singh (IV) and Kanishk Gulia (XII) won Third Prize in the events Paint 3D and Audio Mixing respectively.

BLUE BELLIANS EXHIBIT EXCEPTIONAL DANCE MOVES AND MOVIE MAKING SKILLS AT DPS SCIENCE FEST

“Science and everyday life cannot and should not be separated.” – Rosalind Franklin

The students of #BBPS proved this right as they made their teachers and parents proud by performing exceedingly well at *Capax Infinitum 2020,* an Inter-school Science Fest organised by DPS sec 45 , Gurugram. The event witnessed the participation of most of the renowned schools of Delhi-NCR.

The students combined Scientific Principles of Newton's Laws with an amazing Dance Performance in  Rhythmic Intellection and bagged the third position.

The students also bagged the third prize in Synchronize, a movie-making event in which they made a movie on the theme Evolution of Life Saving Drugs.

We congratulate all the students, their teachers and parents for the wonderful achievement.
