Shiksha Gaurav – 2020 Awarded to Dr. Anisha Gupta and Ms. Geetika Batra

Dr. Anisha Gupta and Ms. Geetika Batra were conferred with the Shiksha Gaurav – 2020 Award at the Teachers Ambassador ceremony organised on 26 December 2020 by CED FOUNDATION in collaboration with Global Talk Education Foundation and Microsoft Team.

Among those to applaud and acknowledge the efforts of teachers were intellectuals and academicians Major Harsh Kumar, Secretary NCERT, Mr. A. K. Sharma, Former Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Mr. P. Ravi, Former Regional Director NIOS, Mr. Succhi Kumar, International model & Film actor and Dr. Priyadarshi Nayak, Founder President, Global Talk Education Foundation.

Blue Bellians Win First Prize at ‘Technovity’

Blue Bellians successfully displayed their knowledge of science and technological skills to earn recognition for themselves and their school once again.

Arjun Singh and Hardik Rai (both from Class XI A) brought laurels to Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School by winning First Prize at ‘Technovity’ in the category ‘DIMENSIONS’. The students designed ‘Tech-Maid’– a complete automatic system that makes cleaning, mopping and sanitising easy in every home.

‘Technovity’ is a mega event that aims to inspire innovation, creativity and critical thinking among students. Organised by Amity International School, Sec-46 Gurugram, the competition witnessed participation from the best schools across NCR.

Berkeley Calls Blue Bellians

We are delighted to inform you that Divanshu Chauhan and Shikhar Srivastava of Class XII have been awarded 100% scholarship worth Rs. 3,60,000 for Internship in Artificial Intelligence by the prestigious The Purpose Academy, University of California - Berkeley.

The Ivy League school academy provides system thinking-based programmes that empower students to solve real world challenges and deliver measurable impact with the help of technology.

Divanshu and Shikhar were also part of the team that last year developed the ‘I-helmet’ under an AI project initiated by CBSE which was selected for the Nationals. The I-helmet uses an AI-enabled programme, through a pre-installed hardware in the helmet, that aids the visually impaired in detecting objects and obstacles. The idea behind building this was to create a safer environment for the visually impaired and help them become more independent.

The I-helmet project secured them a virtual internship with IBM. It was during their IBM internship that they received an opportunity to interview with The Purpose Academy, an interview that eventually won them the $5000 international scholarship.

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Felicitates Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

We are pleased to inform you that Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School has been presented with a Certificate of Recognition by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for successfully organising Fit India School Week-2020.

As part of a national special week meant to encourage fitness, the Sports department organised Aerobics, Yoga and Calisthenics and motivated students, their families, and staff to participate.

It was heartening to experience the enthusiasm and to see the school’s efforts appreciated and acknowledged by the Central Government.

Ishi Tiwari Wins First Prize at Inter-school Dance Competition ‘Velocity-2020’

Achievements and admiration are the twin blessings that constantly surround students of the Primary Wing of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School.

At the recently concluded Inter-school competition, Velocity-2020, organised by ASN International School, New Delhi, students from BBPS competed with 69 other schools from Delhi-NCR and won praise for their performances across categories.

Standing tall amongst them all was Ishi Tiwari (Class V) who added another feather to the school’s cap by bagging first position with a scintillating Fusion Solo Dance. She seamlessly merged the traditional Indian classical dance form, Bharatanatyam, with the Western dance form, Hip Hop, to present a unique dance which she performed with great elegance and charm.

Heartiest congratulations to Ishi on this stupendous achievement.

Ishaan Singh Brings Glory to Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School

Students of #BBPS continue to give us more and more reasons to hold our heads high.

We’re delighted to announce that Ishaan Singh (Class IV) has been conferred International Rank 13 at the SOF National Science Olympiad.

Ishaan walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 2500 along with a certificate and medal from SOF.

This is undoubtedly a commendable achievement as millions of students appeared in the competition which had 56000 schools from 1400 cities spread across 32 countries registered for the world’s biggest Olympiad.

Dron Parasher (Class II) proved this to be true when he brought laurels to Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School by winning International Rank 1 at the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad exam.

This is undoubtedly a commendable achievement as millions of students appeared in the competition which had 56000 schools from 1400 cities spread across 32 countries registered for the world’s biggest Olympiad.

The winner, Dron Parashar walked away with a cash voucher of Rs. 1000.

BBPS Primary Wing Demonstrates Its Skills at Maadhyam

“All roads that lead to success have to pass through hard work boulevard at some point.” – Eric Thomas

Primary Wing of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proved their mettle at Maadhyam, the inter-school competition organised by Imperial Heritage School, Dwarka.

Students had to demonstrate their understanding of Science facts using their aesthetic skills. Chhavi Goel of Class IV bagged third prize at the event ‘Eternal Beauty’. Her beautiful painting of flowers revealed her expertise over colour and form.

Bikramjeet of Class V bagged second prize at the event ‘It’s All About Leaves’. He created amazing doodle patterns on a leaf.
