INTERNATIONAL ACCOLADES FOR TARUSHI KALRA

It makes us feel immensely proud to share that Tarushi Kalra, a student of Class XII from Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School has bagged the Gold Award in 14+ Category in an International event on Importance of SDGs in My Life (June 2021) organised by International Talents for Global Cooperation.

The competition witnessed the participation of hundreds of students from across the globe out of which 284 students were shortlisted for the final presentation held on June 18, 2021. Our Blue Bellian stood out like a real shining star with her tremendous presentation and attained this honour.

Tarushi took up 16th Sustainable Development goal i.e. Promoting Just, Peaceful and Inclusive Societies. She prepared a poster on the same topic by combining a digital comic strip and a hand-drawn painting. The painting reflected the unity of the world and how despite our differences, we are all human. The white dove in the painting symbolises peace, love and hope. The children reflect the future and how their efforts will transform the world, with a hope to keep the tradition of humanity alive.

IMAGIVATION

                         Blue Bellians Excel at International Innovation Summit- IMAGIVATION

It is our constant endeavour to ensure that our students know more about global issues and opportunities. They are well equipped and informed to celebrate the multiculturalism of our school, and of the local, national and international community of which the school is a part.

Continuing their learning about the latest in all spheres from around the globe, the students recently participated in the International Innovation Summit – IMAGIVATION which was organised by Zenik Learning . It is a structured platform of FUTURE-SKILLS to impart the young generation with real world skills. Total 500+ schools over 15000+ students from 20 countries witnessed the summit.

Twenty students (two each from classes III to XII ) from our school participated as Innovation Ambassadors in the international summit. They attended LIVE sessions to learn about Innovation, Problem Solving and Self Confidence and to know about discoveries of past and thrilling vision of Innovation in future.They also got a chance to participate in various events including a Quiz, Idea Contest, extempore and Innovation Olympiad.

All the students received certificates of appreciation. Rohan Yadav from class V was declared school topper in Group I – Innovation Olympiad. Tanishq Malhotra from XB and Abhisar Bhardwaj from XII B were also declared as School toppers in Group III in the events The Impact Extempore and Innovation Olympiad respectively. They received certificate of Excellence for their achievement.

MELANGE 2021

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School SHOWCASES EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE AT MELANGE 2021 ORGANISED BY DAV, SEC 14

It gives us immense pleasure to share that our Blue Bellians are always on the forefront proving their merit! By winning the top-notch place in two competitions, in the Inter-school event Melange 2021 , the Annual Literary Fest of DAV Public School, Sec14, Gurugram, they have once again shown all of us that 'tough times don't last, tough people do'.

 Nishtha Makkar of Class V C bagged the *Certificate of Excellence* in the event My Digital Story Book, wherein she had created a beautiful digital interactive story book with the title The Lion and the Mouse.

Paras Salgotra of Class VII B also won the *Certificate of Excellence* in the event Fable Factory in which he showcased the story of The Thirsty Crow in the modern times.

Adarsh Singh From Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School Bags FIRST PRIZE IN “goCODR" Online Coding Competition

Adarsh Singh from Class VIII of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School bagged the First prize, Rs. 2000/- Cash award and Mobile App Development Course of 12 classes in event "goCODR" Online Coding Competition for School Kids in Scratch.

The school has been honoured with the prestigious award in appreciation of showcasing impact and exemplary use of innovative technology. The award was received by the school in a glittering Felicitation Ceremony in Goa on 16th April 2021 at 3 PM at Radisson Blu Resort, South Goa , in the presence of Hon’ble Dy CM & Education Minister of Delhi, Sh. Manish Sisodia Ji.

Award-Winning Performances by Blue Bellians at ASN Inter-School Cultural and Literary Festival

The students of Grades Nursery-V proved this to be true with their wonderful performances at ‘Panchtatva Sustenance’, the 8th ASN Yamuna Wealth Inter School Cultural and Literary International Fest 2020 organised by ASN Sr. Sec. School.

The enthusiastic participants competed with many other reputed schools of Delhi & NCR. The little leaders of the future displayed their understanding of UNSD goals in each competition through their commendable performances.

Nitasha Bhutani of Class III made a thought-provoking poster on ‘Five Elements of Nature’ in Microsoft Paint 3D and clinched first prize in the event ‘Techno Craft’.

Trisha Gupta of UKG Tulip presented a melodious jingle emphasising the importance of good health and well-being to bag second prize in the event ‘Health Promo’.

Vidhi Singh of Class II B, displayed her flexibility and strength by effortlessly moving through different yoga poses to bag the third prize in the event ‘Panchbhut Yoga’.

Rohit Yadav of Class V D made a creative paper mascot to promote ‘Protection from Ignorance’ and bagged third prize in the event ‘Logo Graph’.

Akshita Chutani of Class II A displayed a lot of creativity by designing a beautiful mask for the event La’ Mascralia and secured a consolation prize.

Lakshit Khatri of II C displayed his finesse through a wonderful calligram which helped him bag the consolation prize in the event ‘Word Art’.

Certificate of Appreciation presented to Tarushi Kalra

We are proud to share that our brilliant student Tarushi Kalra (XI-D), who scored 99.6% marks in AISSE for the academic year 2019-20, was awarded a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Education. The certificate was presented to her at a programme to felicitate meritorious students organised by Ministry of Education, Government of India on 26 January 2021.

Nishtha Singh Wins ‘Student Scientist Award’

Demonstrating her skills in science, Nishtha Singh (XII B) brought laurels to Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School by winning ‘Student Scientist Award’ at ‘Ignite’ - a national online science contest.

Organised by ‘Jhansi Science Club’ under the aegis of New India Foundation, a renowned NGO, the competition witnessed participation from the best schools across India.

We are proud to announce that faculty members Ms. Geetika Batra and Ms. Madhu Talwar of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School have been awarded the prestigious IT Guru Award-2020 in the following category:

Ms. Geetika Batra: Online Classroom Engagement Award

Ms. Madhu Talwar: Most Innovative IT Teacher Award

They were amongst those selected from over 2000 teachers from across India for this honour.

Organised by EduNext, the IT Guru Award aims to recognise the hidden IT Stars, those who make an outstanding impact on transforming classroom education to online education.

This year the Awards team acknowledged the contribution of teachers who showed exceptional dedication during the Pandemic. As digital warriors they worked hard to ensure uninterrupted learning for students at a time when the rest of the world was concerned about its personal well-being.

Ms. Batra and Ms. Talwar were felicitated at an online award ceremony held on 28 December 2020. The awards were announced in the presence of Dr. Antriksh Johri, Director (IT & Project) & Chief Information Security Officer, CBSE and other eminent personalities in education.
