Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School PERFORMING EXCEEDINGLY WELL IN THE CBSE PRE-SUBROTO CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The school’s Under 17 Boys team geared themselves for the CBSE Pre Subroto Football Tournament in Sonipat . On August 29 2018 , the Under 17 Boys Team won their First   fixture against Ashiana School, Chandigarh and moved to the second round. Playing to their perfection with supreme team work, the  team defeated Deepalya School, Delhi in the Second round  to register a place in Quarter Finals on August 30, 2018.

A number of seasoned teams from the zone are competing in the Football Tournament and it is a tough competition lined up at each fixture. The team will play the Quarter Final match on August 31,  2018.

We congratulate our team for a brilliant start and seek the blessings of all for the future ventures.

Blue Bellians personified this quote when they participated in MOSAIC 2018 At K R Mangalam School on August 31, 2018 .The Competition was the cornucopia of literary , theatrical and cultural competition . Manasvi Tiwari (LKG) brought laurels for her alma mater by bagging Second prize in the Escapade (Rhythmic Dramatisation ).

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School WON THE DISTRICT HARYANA SCHOOL GAMES QUARTER FINAL MATCH

Sports is the way of life at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School.

It is a matter of immense pleasure for  Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School  that the budding Cricketers of  Under 14 Boys Team yet again proved their mettle and   climbed  the rungs of the success ladder by winning their Quarter Final Match in the Haryana District Cricket Tournament at Drona Cricket Academy Grounds on August 27, 2018.

Our Agile and sporting team defeated OLF by Seven wickets. Batting first, the OLF team scored 69 runs in their allocated ten overs. Team Blue Bells reached the target easily with the loss of three wickets and won by seven wickets. Karan Yadav was the top scorer with 39 runs.

THE WINNING STREAK OF Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School CONTINUES IN THE DISTRICT LEVEL SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT

The Under 14 Boys Cricket Team of the school defeated Pathways School by a convincing margin of 35 runs and qualified for the Quarter Finals in DISTRICT LEVEL SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT in Drona Cricket Academy ground , Sector 64, Gurugram on August 25, 2018.

Karan Yadav scored 55 runs in just 32 balls and Krish supported him by scoring 22 runs in 21 balls . While the batsman were piling up runs on the scoreboard, the bowlers complimented them by clinching wickets at a regular interval to help the team win this crucial match.

Inter School Dance Competition

ENTHRALLING PERFORMANCE BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School , SECTOR 10,GURUGRAM AT INTER SCHOOL DANCE COMPETITION AT RABINDRANATH SCHOOL

The  students of Blue Bells school clinched the First Position and mesmerized all with their lively and energetic performance in the Inter School Dance Competition at Rabindranath World School on August 24, 2018.

The school team presented the Fusion Dance showcasing beautiful amalgamation of Western and Classical Dance forms to promote international brotherhood and collaboration. It was a spirited performance of the students that was applauded by the judges and audience.The event was organized under the aegis of GPSC wherein  renowned schools of Gurugram participated.

INCREDIBLE SUCCESS STORY CRAFTED BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, SECTOR 10, GURUGRAM AT INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CHAMPIONSHIP

 The School team comprising of Dhruv Punia, Bhuwan Mohan, Karunesh Yadav and Arjun Singh clinched the coveted Second Position in Industrial Design Category in  Design Championship organized by Mindbox at Shiv Nadar School, Noida on August 24, 2018 . Adding more feathers to this cap of glory, in the Graphic Design Category , the students , Gaurav Marwah, Namo Jain and Lakshay Tyagi bagged the Second Position.

In the Industrial Design Category ,the students designed a water cistern to be attached to the  tap which would control the wastage of water and also the water collected would be used for generation of electricity .They complimented their presentation with the 3D Model . In the Graphic Design , the students designed a Logo for their Gaming Company and brought laurels for the alma mater. The students used all the latest tools for making their Logo attractive and appealing. 

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 90 renowned schools of Delhi & NCR (Khaitan,  DPS, DAV, Shiv Nadar, G.D.Goenka, Modern School and  Maharaj Agrasen etc.) and the level of the competition was high. Around 630 projects were a part of the competition. The judges were thoroughly mesmerized by the innovative presentation  of our students  with 3D Model and heartily lauded their efforts.

The Director , Deputy Director (IT) and Vice Principal of the school extended their heartiest felicitations to the school team for this marvellous feat . 

METAMORPHOSIS 2018

‘Realize Deeply That The Present Moment Is All You Ever Have.’-Echart Trolle

Modern age has taken a holistic approach to well being by encompassing much more than just physical health and promoting harmony on the outside as well as inside the body.  Sensitizing the adolescents and empowering them to combat the challenges of tomorrow is the need of the hour. The Health and Wellness Programme of the school under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena , Deputy  Director ( Health and Wellness), BBGS, has been actively working on empowering the adolescents.  In sync with the same objective, the students of the school participated in Metamorphosis- Health & Wellness Fiesta, An Inter School Life Skills Event  at Blue Bells Model School on August 24 & 25, 2018 .

The students participated in  Critical Thinking, Fun Races ,   Debate and Quiz Competitions in Middle and Senior Category. In the Senior Category , Himani Sharma of Class XI C bagged the First position in the Critical Thinking Game and in the Middle Category , Yatin Malhotra of Class VIII B clinched the Third Position in Fun Races for Classes VI to VIII. It was a tough  competition  as the students of twenty one renowned GPSC schools competed for the coveted positions.

The teachers of the school along with the teachers of other GPSC Schools  attended a thought provoking and invigorating Workshop conducted by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness) Blue Bells Group of Schools and members of Resource Centre team on  “Rethink Discipline: The Positive Discipline Approach” . The Workshop focused on an ardent need  to promote positive discipline which is founded on mutual respect and is neither coercive nor permissive.

EMPHATIC ACHIEVEMENT BY Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School IN FIRST AAHVAAN INTER SCHOOL SKATING TOURNAMENT

“Give me wings and I will fly to zenith.” The Skating Team of the school personified this saying and showcased their prowess in the Rink by performing exceedingly well and clinching the Second Runners Up Position in the First Aahvaan Inter School Skating Tournament held at The Maurya School on August 18, 2018.

A number of seasoned teams from Gurugram participated in the tournament. The agility of our skilled team wowed the judges and spectators. Performing to perfection, in U-12 Girls Category, Anushka bagged the Second Position and Under 14 Boys Category, Harshant clinched the Second Position .

Complementing their seniors, the tiny tots, Aayush won the Third Position in the Under 6 Boys Quads and Aashna clinched Third Position in Under 10 Girls Quads Category.

The Principal, Director and Vice Principal extended their felicitations to the brilliant players and Skating Coach and wished them success in future endeavours.

Literati-2018 – Inter-School Literary Competition

Amity International School organized Inter-school Literary Festival – Literati-2018 on August 18, 2018. Around 33 schools from the NCR participated in the event. The purpose of the event was to provide a platform for the young students to learn and hone their skills and prove their mettle across five languages. Our students participated with great vigour and enthusiasm.  They were appreciated for their performances and clinched second position in Curtain Call and third position in Sur Le Ligne Essai (Online Essay Writing) through their unbeatable performance.

INDIA CALLING AT MANAV RACHNA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

In the 21^st century educational scenario there has been a ‘paradigm shift’ in the concept of imparting knowledge as well as teaching-learning process. Keeping in mind the fact that the quest and zeal for learning of an individual should never cease, young minds must be imbued with the flame of broadening their scope of enlightening themselves. In sync with the same vision, the students of the school participated in India Calling , an Inter School Event at Manav Rachna International School on August 13 & August 14,2018 .

In the Category of  Indian Traditional Games Presentation  on August 13, 2018 ,  Navya Kumari, Aarav  Kataria and Somanshu Bhagat, students of UKG presented and played  a traditional game ‘’ Chausar’’ and bagged the Second Position in the Competition where more than 21 schools of Gurugram competed .

On August 14, 2018 ,the Senior Wing students mesmerized the judges and participating schools with their lively performance in the Nukkad Natak by bringing into light the need to conserve the resources . The students amidst thunderous applaud clinched the Third Position in the event .
