Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School  PROJECT SELECTED IN ATL MARATHON

Charting the saga of success, the school ATL Team showcased their innovation with a perfect blend of technology in their project –Cattlelogger . It was indeed a very proud moment for the school as this  advanced  technology project was selected  from amongst 1500 + projects all over India  in ATL Marathon on March 15, 2019. Around  50000+  students  from different parts of the country competed to register their place in  the next level.

Our students developed a Foot band for cattle that can monitor its temperature, Blood pressure  and  pulse rate etc. This data would then be  transferred to an App in Dairy farmer's  mobile phone, so as to help them  notice any health problem in the animal easily. As majority of Indians live in villages where these cattle are a source of income generation, this foot band would prove to be an asset.

CONCOURS ROMAIN ROLLAND (ONLINE NATIONAL LEVEL FRENCH EXAM)

“   The education system should instill in the minds of the students capacities to inquiry, creativity, technology, entrepreneurial and moral leadership.”

In order to provide a competitive and learning platform to the students, the school conducted “Concours Romain Rolland” , an Online French Olympiad at the National Level on January 18, 21 & 22,  2019 for Classes VI to IX.

It was a proud moment when Ankita Dey brought laurels to the school by getting 45^th rank in All India Ranking wherein 4277 students appeared nationwide. The school bagged 37 Gold Medals and Appreciation Certificates. The School was rewarded with a Trophy for marvelous performance at the National Level and a memento and appreciation certificate was also awarded to the French facilitator.

 The purpose of the exam was to evaluate the linguistic and cultural knowledge of the students, to evaluate skills of the students – reading skills, listening skills, writing skills, Knowledge of the language, understanding of culture and civilization, to examine the students’ understanding of the language and not just their memorization skills and to train learners to understand the changing scenario of French language at the school level.

It was an enthusiastic and real learning experience for the students where they acquired knowledge and skills for learning French language creatively.

Ms. Geetika Batra from Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School hit the Bullion Shot by clinching  the position of  National Level Winner  along with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- in the Tata Classedge Classroom Championship Edition IV Finals at Mumbai on February 20,2019.

Ms. Geetika was among the top five achievers and her presentation on the topic -Fraction in Mathematics gave a new insight to teaching the concept to the young learners in an effective manner.  Around 1900 teachers from all over India competed in this prestigious competition which highlighted the theme - MY TEACHING MY PASSION.

The school was conferred with the most Inspiring School Award for the effective implementation of the Tata Edge Classroom Programme to enhance the teaching-learning process. Ms. Arpita Acharya, Vice Principal received the award in a glittering ceremony amidst the school Principals and leadership team of Tata Classedge Classroom Programme.

Innovation blended with technology is the mantra for skilful teaching learning discourse , this thought was exemplified by Ms. Geetika. Her efforts and ideas were applauded by coterie of intellectuals and esteemed judges for the competition. In the journey towards this glorious accomplishment, Ms. Geetika was ardently supported and guided by the school Management.

CLASSEDGE CLASSROOM CHAMPIONSHIP IV

CROWING GLORY FOR Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School AS MS. GEETIKA BATRA MADE IT TO THE NATIONAL FINALS OF CLASSEDGE CLASSROOM CHAMPIONSHIP IV

With immense pleasure and excitement, we wish to share that our school - Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School has made it to Nationals of Classedge Classroom Championship IV. Ms. Geetika Batra proved her mettle and registered herself in the Finals by competing with more than 1900 teachers from over 480 schools participating in the competition . In the Finals , she would be competing in two rounds of video recording to get the best of the teaching videos.

Ms. Geetika Batra and the School Head have been invited to Mumbai for the Finals scheduled on February 20 & 21, 2019 .

DISTRICT LEVEL PHILATELY COMPETITION

“Successful minds work like gimlet to a single point.”

Success is not matter of luck or genius. It depends on adequate preparation, indomitable determination, able execution, persistence and will power. The students  of Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School , Sector 10, Gurugram ,  once again proved their mettle as they bagged the Second Position in the Stamp Designing Contest on January 29, 2019 and Third Position in Quiz Contest on January 30, 2019 in District Level Philately Competition ( GURPEX 2019) organized by Department of Posts , Gurugaon Division at CCA School.

The students from renowned schools of Gurgaon competed. This was one of the competitions which tested the students’ knowledge about the world’s history, culture, flora n fauna a, personalities, important events and other landmarks.

CBSE NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

SPLENDID PERFROMANCE BY YOUNG INNOVATORS  OF Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School AS BOTH THE PROJECTS  GOT SELECTED FOR THE CBSE  NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

With immense pleasure , we wish to share that both the projects – Tractable Gamut and Demeter  sent by school in the Regional Level Science Exhibition made a smooth entry into the Nationals scheduled on February 8 & 9, 2019. All the Regional Level teams presented their best projects and it is an astounding feat attained as our students of Classes VIII & IX  competed and proved that excellence has no age bar. Around 96 wonderful projects competed in  the Exhibition. 

TRACTABLE GAMUT –Project I, under Subtheme -‘Health and Cleanliness’,  was made by Nikunj Chauhan (VIII B)  and Harshit Verma (VIII B)  and DEMETER –Project II , under Subtheme -‘Agriculture and Organic Farming’, was conceived  by Dhruv Punia (IX C) and Arjun Singh (IX D) . The projects were heartily appreciated by the judges and participating teams in the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition at DAV School, Sector 49 on January 30 & 31, 2019 . 

The students showcased that when innovation is blended with right earnest , the result is overwhelming and inspiring . Tractable Gamut is a device which would help the people suffering from diseases eat by themselves and feel independent . The cost effectiveness of the device made it an incredible product which can be used by people in our country .

The other  device called Demeter is used for different farm sizes and uses. It uses the NDVI system  by scanning a crop using both visible and near-infrared light. Demeter can identify which plants reflect different amount of green light  and NIR light..A speedy response  can save an entire orchard .In addition , as soon as a sickness is discovered, farmers can apply and monitor remedies more precisely .These two possibilities increase a plant’s  ability to overcome diseases .

64TH SCHOOL NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Sweet melody of success enchants the World. Gazal Dagar, Sports Captain of Blue Bells Public  School brought laurels for the alma mater when she was selected from Gurugram to represent Haryana State in the 64th School National Volleyball Championship Under 19 Girls Category in Chandrapur, Maharashtra from December 30,.2018 to January 4,2019.

With immense pleasure we would like to share that Gazal played a phenomenal role while playing in the team and the  Under 19 Girls Volleyball Haryana Team had reached the Semi Finals of this prestigious National Level Championship.

The journey to this success is hard work, resolute focus, determination and an urge to reach your optimum potential. Gazal not only won various Volleyball Tournaments throughout the year but also attended the  SGFI Volleyball National Camp from December 20 to 27,2018, one of the best training camps in India for the sports.

Under 16 International Cricket Match

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School HOSTED INTERNATIONAL CRICKET MATCHES BETWEEN UNDER 16 BOYS TEAM OF BLUE BELLS, GURUGRAM AND JCA, SRILANKA

"We can best teach character on the playing field, using sports to teach life’s lessons.” We, at Blue Bells believe that sports and games foster a feeling of healthy competitive spirit and sportsmanship among the players. In this process, they learn to channelize their energy in a positive way thereby imbibing in themselves values of self-discipline, patience, punctuality and courteousness.

In pursuance of this objective, the school organized International Cricket Matches between Under 16 Boys Team of Blue Bells, Gurugram and JCA, Srilanka in the School Grounds on December 28 & 29, 2018.

The visiting team was accorded a formal traditional welcome by the students of the school on December 28, 2018.  After the ceremonial introduction of the teams with the dignitaries, the National Anthems of Srilanka and India were played which marked the beginning of two Cricket Matches to be played between the teams. The spirit of Internationalism was showcased as it fostered the spirit of  brotherhood and provided a platform to the learners to become global citizens by transcending geo-political boundaries and adding a new dimension to the learning perspective.

 In the First Match on December 28, 2018, Team Blue Bells won the toss and elected to bat. After the initial phase of swing, the batsman settled and played wonderfully leading to 182 runs in 20 overs. . Achint Desha from JCA , Srilanka scored 83 runs and was declared the Man of the Match. Uvin Chandeepa from the Srilankan team bagged 2 wickets. Karan Bhambhu from Blue Bells , Gurugram  scored 98 runs. In the run chase, Srilankan team reached the target in 17 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. Imaad Khan from Blue Bells  was the Highest Wicket Taker with 4 wickets.

The Second Match was played on December 29, 2018 . JCA, Srilanka won the toss and chose to field and restricted Blue Bells team to a total of 183 runs in 25 overs . The  Srilankan inning started with the loss of one wicket on the very first ball but gradually the batsmen picked up and gave a befitting run chase.  The bowlers of the Blue Bells Team bowled a perfect line and length and bowled out the entire  Srilankan team for just 109 runs .

In the two matches played, one match was won by JCA, Srilanka and the other by Blue Bells, Gurugram . The umpires then calculated the net run rate of both the teams in the matches and the Winners Trophy was lifted by  Blue Bells ,  Gurugram because of the good net run rate .  The school being the host passed on the trophy to the Runners Up , the Trophy was passed on to JCA , Srilanka  .  Man of Match was Karan Yadav with 53 runs and 2 Wickets for his all-round performance.  Achint Desha , the  Captain of JCA, Srilanka team bowled exceedingly well and was the Highest Wicket Taker with 4 Wickets .  Maximum Runs Scorer was Karan Bhambu, Captain of Blue Bells, Gurugram team with 113 runs . The Winners were also felicitated with Gold Medals for their marvelous performance and sportsman spirit they exhibited on the field for two days.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suneeta Kaul, Middle Wing Incharge , congratulated both the teams for a wonderful display of sportsman spirit and a good battle between the bat and the ball. Ma’am thanked the school Management for organizing the Matches to provide for a conducive learning environment to the budding cricketers.

MATHEMANIA- ANNUAL MATHEMATICS FEST AT DAV SCHOOL.

Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School CLINCHED SECOND POSITION IN MATHS WIZARD (QUIZ)  IN MATHEMANIA- ANNUAL MATHEMATICS FEST AT DAV SCHOOL.

Mathematics is the poetry of logical ideas and queen of all the Sciences . These words were personified by Blue Bellians when they not only competed but proved their mettle . Pragyan Sharma of Class X and Aayush of Class IX bagged Second Prize in the event Math Wizard (Mathematics Quiz). The Quiz tested the analytical , computing, logical skills along with the conceptual knowledge. It was a tough battle where everyone played to the best of their abilities to be the winner.

The students of 12 renownd GPSC schools participated in the Annual Math Event - Mathemania-The Math Fest held at DAV Public School , Sector 14 ,Gurugram on December 19, 2018.
