INTER-SCHOOL DISTRICT ROLL BALL TOURNAMENT

With a vision to cultivate a generation of exceptional athletes, our school's commitment to provide a supportive infrastructure and relentless training sessions, has led to a triumphant feat. The budding skaters of our school skillfully navigated their way to the winner's podium at the Inter-School District Roll Ball Tournament held on August 19, 2023 at Suncity School, Sector 37D.

In the U-9 Girls Category, our young talents, Janvi and Gulmaira of Class III, showcased their prowess and determination, securing the coveted First Position. Similarly, the boys' team comprising of Riyansh from Class I, Ayaan Arora from Class II and Bhavy Siwach from Class III secured the First Position in U-9 Boys Category.

In the U-11 Girls category, Manvi of Class VI exhibited remarkable sportsmanship and clinched the Second Position.

We congratulate our talented skaters and wish them success in all their future endeavours as well.

JUNIOR ENVIRONMENT LEADERSHIP DIPLOMA

Mahi Pahuja,our proud Blue Bellian expresses her opinion on the misdeeds of the people towards our Mother Earth and the environment. She believes “we have not inherited this Earth from our ancestors but borrowed it from the future generations. ” The Mother Earth is not only ours but also belongs to the upcoming generations. We are not the only ones who are going to live on this planet but there are millions of new generations. That is why, it is the time to roll our sleeves and pull up our socks. If not now then never. The people make the society and the society makes the world, so we people have to take some actions for the protection of the environment and the Earth. Now here is where sustainable development comes in place. Sustainable development in simpler words means the development of the present without compromising on the future people’s needs. The 17 SDG goals set by the UN provide us with a basic idea and motivate us to take new steps towards it. The 17 Goals like No Poverty, Zero Hunger etc. help the nation to develop without compromising its future generations' basic needs. Not only the sustainable development goals but the projects like the Paris agreement also contribute a lot. The UN has provided us the start. Now it’s in our hands to take up the actions further. Only bookish knowledge is not of any use to mankind. In the same way, only studying about sustainable development and the steps to make the environment more eco-friendly cannot do much help. We have to start taking action. I feel that these small initiatives should be taken by millions of students around the globe, for this JELD is a perfect example of that. Each one of us has the potential to do something or another for mother earth. It’s time everyone comes together and takes the matter into their own hands", Mahi quips.

XAVENIUM 2023

With these uplifting words as her guiding light, Annika Vats of Grade III participated in the Inter-school event ‘Xavenium 2023’ organised by St. Xavier’s High School on August 12, 2023, and emerged as a shining star by clinching the Second Prize in the event ‘Tirade’. Her powerful speech on the theme ‘My Nature, My Future’ along with her impeccable expressions, intonation, modulation, and expressive body language helped her deliver a compelling and memorable performance that left an indelible impact on the audience.  

BDBBPS GIRLS’ U-17 FOOTBALL TEAM CLINCHES SILVER MEDAL AT SHALOM PRESIDENCY SCHOOL

We are proud to announce the remarkable achievement of our Girls' Football Team in the recently concluded Inter-School Competition hosted by Shalom Presidency School in the U-17 Category.

Our Girls’ U-17 Football Team showcased their prowess on the field and secured a well-deserved Silver Medal in the competition. Their hard work, discipline, and determination were evident in every match they played. The team's consistent performance is a testament to their commitment to the sport and the guidance provided by their coaches.

Heartiest Congratulations once again to all the players and their mentors for their remarkable achievements. We look forward to further nurturing their talents and witnessing their continued success in future competitions.

SHALOM’S CONCLAVE

STUPENDOUS PERFORMANCE BY BDBPS AT SHALOM’S CONCLAVE

‘If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride - and never quit, you'll be a winner.’

An Inter-School Competition was organised by Shalom Conclave at Shalom Presidency School. 20 Students from Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School participated in various events and won many prizes making us proud!

Avneet Mishra, Aratrika Rana and Yatharth Gaur from Grade VIII participated in the event Notion Discourse - Debate. Our debaters won the First Position in the competition. The students delivered their thoughts with conviction and emerged victorious.

Poetry not only entertains but illuminates the soul as well. Personifying these words, the students' team from Classes XI and XII of the Senior Wing- Rakshita Bhalla, Shreya Tanwar, Harshita Kandwal, Lakshita Kakkar, and Neerav clinched the ‘Special Jury Award’ by presenting a self-composed poem on ‘Women Empowerment’. Their spirited performance enthralled the audience and won the judges’ applause and acclaim.

    A team of ten students from Classes III and IV participated in the event 'Choral Recitation' and presented a thought-provoking poem on the theme 'Grow to Glow.' Their exceptional coordination, expressive delivery, and well-modulated voices helped them secure the esteemed position of Second Runner-Up.

 Overall, the competition was a resounding success, and all the participants were praised for their hard work, dedication, and commitment.

 The Blue Bells Family is proud of their efforts and achievement and wishes them all the best for their future endeavours.

ACHIEVEMENT - BAND COMPETITION

First Position at Inter-School Band Competition: 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'

 The School Band, comprising of six students of the Senior Wing, bagged the First Position in Spandan- The Band Competition held at Manav Rachna International School on August 11, 2023, on the theme 'One Earth, One Family, One Future.' As the bands from diverse schools of Delhi-NCR converged to celebrate global unity and responsibility, the students of BDBBPS gave a performance highlighting unity and cultural understanding which was totally a class apart, leaving the audience completely mesmerized!

Saisha Kapoor Wins First Prize in Creative Clip Event at TechBuzz 2023

We are delighted to share the outstanding accomplishment of Saisha Kapoor, a student of Class X B, who clinched the First Prize in the Creative Clip Competition of TechBuzz 2023, organised by DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram.

 The event required students to create YouTube Shorts on the topic 'Conquering Social Media Addiction.' Saisha's winning entry stood out for its innovative approach and thoughtful content, effectively addressing the modern challenge of excessive social media usage.

PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL 21^st DIGI SKILLZ RECOGNITIONS TO BDBBPS

With esteemed pleasure, we are delighted to share that Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram was bestowed with the distinguished recognition of ‘BEST SCHOOL AWARD 2023’at the international platform by the 21^st Digi Skillz International Academy. Dr. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader, BDBBPS headed the young brigade of the school comprising Priyanshi Yadav (XII A), Jeshna Raja Benhar (XII B), Goohika Joshi (XI C), Rakshita Bhalla (XIA), Mannat Kaur (XA), Chirag Yadav (XA) and Kiran Bisht(XA)  and proudly hosted the Award Ceremony at the  3^rd Anniversary Celebration of 21^st Digi Skillz International Academy on August 6, 2023, online.

Dr. Trilok Singh Bisht, Principal, BDBBPS, and Dr. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader, BDBBPS were bestowed with the ‘Outstanding Edu-Leader 2023 Award’. Dr. Phutela, Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra, Primary Wing Leader, BDBBPS, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Sunita, and Ms. Anju Luthra, Senior Faculty were recognised as the ‘Global Community Member 2023’. Adding on, Ms. Anju Luthra also bagged the award for ‘Innovator Educator 2023’. Ms. Sonia Mehndiratta, Senior English Faculty was acknowledged with the ‘Outstanding Teacher Award 2023’. Furthermore, four students – Goohika Joshi (XI C), Mannat Kaur (X A), Chirag Yadav (X A), and Kiran Bisht (X A) clinched the ‘Outstanding Ambassador Award 2023’ for their tireless efforts in raising awareness about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the global stage. The BDBBPS Team members were awarded in a glittering ceremony amidst a coterie of elite educationists and students across the globe.

The award celebrates globalizing education by connecting educators and students worldwide, thereby expanding horizons and facilitating the exchange of ideas on a Glocal scale, concerning UN SDGs. In this era of rapid technological advancement, where digital skills are foremost to connect with educators on these sensitive and global issues, these awards honour the individuals who have demonstrated excellence, creativity, and resilience in navigating the digital landscape on social issues of grave concern that require immediate attention!

Dr. Uche Linda Okpala, Founder and CEO of 21^st DSA heartily lauded the effort of the school for hosting the event on the international platform and expressed her gratitude to Dr. Trilok Singh Bisht, revered Principal, BDBBPS for being an exceptional and inspirational Guest Speaker at the event. The event recognized the outstanding contributions of distinguished educators, researchers, authors, moderators, and ambassadors, and was attended by participants from various corners of the globe.

With the grace of God and the blessings of our mentors and gurus, Dr. Preeti Phutela, Senior Wing Leader, BDBBPS, and a group of enthusiastic students with oratorial finesse and technical prowess hosted the Award Ceremony. An event that stood as a jubilant recognition of the remarkable achievements within the education sector. The anchoring team was spearheaded by Dr. Preeti Phutela and the co-anchors for different categories were – Goohika Joshi, Jeshna Raja Benehar, Mannat Kaur, Kiran Bisht , Chirag Yadav, Rakshita Bhalla, and Priyanshi Yadav. The technical team comprised of tech geeks -Divyanshu Chand, Dhruv Suhag, Anmol Yadav, Kushagra Luthra, and Dhruv Chauhan. Ms. Anju Luthra and Ms. Sonia Mehndiratta, teaching faculty at BDBBPS, also received the Certificate of Appreciation for their support in smooth hosting of the session on the digital platform.

2ND JSKFI NATIONAL CUP KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

23 July 2023,  Samarth Kumar, a shining star from Grade VI of BDBBPS, participated with unwavering determination and skill, bringing glory and honour to his school by clinching a Gold Medal in the Sub Junior Category (boys).
